    Eddie is an up and coming hot new chef in Gideon's restaurant. Gideon is no longer working as a chef himself due to a horrific accident that has left him without his sense of taste or smell. Due to his stubborn nature, he refuses to seek psychological help for his past trauma, even though it could very well bring his lost senses back. Instead he acts as restaurant manager and boss, eying his new chef from afar.

    Eddie may seem to be a bit of a scatterbrain and eager to please but those outer personality traits hide a determined and fiery personality. His attraction to his boss is probably not the smartest thing in the world but try as he might, he cannot keep his eyes or his hands off of Gideon!

    Love You Senseless has a nice progression with just enough angst and emotion to make it real without it completely overtaking the romance. Giddeon and Eddie get to be friends and their attraction towards one another is steamy and hot! I seriously wanted to slap Gideon for his stubbornness with regards to therapy. His frustration and anger and flashbacks lead to some seriously stupid reactions on his part. Eddie is a saint for looking beyond the grief and seeing the man he was inside.

    The secondary characters in this book are awesome! I seriously hope that Leslie and Taylor get their own story very soon! I never want to meet Leslie in a dark alley when he is wearing his stilettos! Eddie's roommates are seriously unique and I can't wait to see more of them!

    Overall, Love You Senseless is a great read.... plenty of heat but woven into the story so that it is real and very well written. Just enough angst to keep things moving along and wonderful character development from start to finish. Definitely one I recommend completely!

    Gideon's one passion is being a chef. It's the one thing he loves to do but a serious accident has taken that from him. A fire that took his friend in front of him also left him without a sense of smell or taste. Two things a chef must have to be good. Without cooking in his life, Gideon is moody and short tempered. He's quick to go off on his kitchen staff. He knows he has one of the best up and coming Saus chefs around. Not only his Eddie talented, but Gideon can't keep his thoughts professional.

    A chef, a moody restaurant owner, a pervert and a physic....not character's traits you would usually but together but for whatever reason being put together in this context works. This is my first read from this author, the writing had a good flow, good character base. Overall the story was well written and worth a read.

    This is the first book I've read by Susan Mac Nicol. I don't know why it took me so long but it was wonderful. Her characters are richly drawn, the dialog snappy and the plot intricately complex. Sensuality fills their romantic encounters and Eddie's flatmates each deserve their own stories. I'm hoping they are included in this series!

    i don't really know how to describe it. i have mixed feelings.
    first, MCs. i liked Eddie just fine. he was cute, sexy and just a good guy. plus, i have to admit that over the years i have developed some kind of kink for redheads so.... When it comes to Gideon, sure i felt sorry for him. poor guy, tragic accident but he wasn't just grumpy, he was acting like a complete dick most of the time and i didn't warmed up to him. the other characters are also nothing special tbh.
    Second, i am so not into all this psychic thing that it made me wanna stop reading at some point. i just don't believe in these type of things and for the god's sake it was not a sci-fi story!
    third, it was so damn predictable, even the whole drama with Luke. like can't You even try to be more original? please.
    and the last one, it was so sweet and fairy-taley there should be unicorns puking rainbows to make it complete.

    SO many cooking puns in that synopsis.. I won't smother you with more! Ok, just that one.

    Gideon is moody. He's got a quick temper and he's a bit of a jerk. Underneath though he's just a helpless man whose been struck with tragedy. Everything he's every wanted has been taken from him, leaving him angry, tired, resentful and unable to cook.
    His story is really an emotional one and you understand why he's the moody bastard he is.. for the most part!

    "I like them cute and with floppy hair, yes. But I also like them all macho and growly with amazing lips and beautiful hazel eyes. I like them moody and difficult and challenging. Sound familiar?"

    Eddie is young, fresh and a chef in Gideon's restaurant. He's kind, shy and did I mention a ginger? Gingers aren't always my personal preference, but Eddie changed my mind!
    He lives with his roommates Leslie and Taylor and together with all their quirks and eccentricities, they are a tight little family.

    There's laugh out loud moments, hot as hell sex and emotional teary eyed moments.

    Looking forward to the next in the series. Wonder who it'll be!!!

    OMG loved this book by Susan Mac Nicol. Love you Senseless had it all . Great main and secondary characters. This was my first book by this author and was so excited to realize the rest of the series was available to buy.

    Gideon and Eddie were an amazing couple. You wanted them to find their way together from the start. They were soulmates but Gideon tried to fight the attraction but lost out in the end or really he won because he had Eddie.

    The secondary characters - Leslie and Taylor were the best. They both brought something special to the book.

    Off to purchase the rest of the series

Trotz aller Gegensätze verbindet Sie doch so viel und es ist schön dass wir Sie sie auf der Reise in eine gemeinsame Zukunft ein Stück auf dem Weg begleiten dürfen.

    Mit 28 Jahren war Gideon Kent auf dem Höhepunkt seiner Kariere, als preisgekrönter Chef im eigenen Restaurant dem Galileos, seinem ganzen Stolz im Londoner Soho Bezirk. Bei einem tragischen Unglück vor ein paar Monaten verlor Gideon auf grausame Weise seinen Geschmacks- und Geruchssinn, wodurch er seinen Platz in der Küche schweren Herzens aufgeben musste. Eine Therapie, um das Erlebte zu verarbeiten, lehnt er jedoch dankend ab. Taylor and Leslie are Eddie's room mates, they sound like great friends to each other and have a blast. Jerome and Andy work in the kitchen, they all get along, ribbing each other, going out clubbing. Gideon is real lucky to have such a fantastic work force as well as great friends working for him. This story is fun and loving, it's left me wanting more. Thank you Susan Mac Nicol for not only a beautiful story of love but bringing laughter into my day. I would love a book on Leslie.     Loved reading this book it had me right from the start. When Eddie joins the the staff of Galileo's as a chef he crushes on his boss. Gideon has suffered from injuries from a fire from six months ago. Gideon once an award winning chef now is the owner of his restaurant. Battling his demons making him grouchy, fights his feeling for his worker not even knowing if he was gay or not.. Together with both their friends this makes an amazing hot book. I can highly recommended this book. An added attraction of this is has an psychic story line weaved into it which I absolutely loved. I cant wait to read Taylor's story.

    I love everything in these books...The writing, the humor, the sexy moments, the characters' personalities...

    Gideon, owner of a restaurant as well as a chef who had lost some of his senses after he almost burnt in a building, ripped my heart open. The sweet Eddie, who's his new chef in his restaurant, made me laugh and cry and... oh my god, they're so hot together!!
    Being married to a chef myself, I can see that the author had made her research very thoroughly. You can picture yourself in the kitchen, working and laughing with them all!

    I loved how Susan Mac Nicol introduced the main characters of books #2 and #3... I could see I'd love them as much as Gideon and Eddie !♥ Enjoy! ♥
