Golden Shana: The Capture Kindle Edition
“… an exceptional author who has done an incredible job with weaving together a love story with erotic suspense and descriptive thriller elements… the passions wafts off the page…”
Roman: I wanted to eat all of her. Even within that fortress I longed to erect around her to hold her captive in, to keep her away from men not worthy of the sight of her, I’d devour my fiery Golden.
Shana: I succumbed to Roman’s deadly sex. I shut off my defences and found myself on his bed, in an impossible state of sluttish disarray, holding my breath with impatience, totally done. Or undone?
The sparks fly and the passion is ablaze, but which one of the two strong characters will truly succumb to the dictates of the “newland” they find themselves in?
Publisher’s Note: GOLDEN SHANA SERIES love story contains adult language and explicit sex, but has nothing to do with hardcore BDSM and graphic violence as content. The series contains an original, intriguing story, with elements of crime thriller suspense woven in the complicated relationship between Shana Lindqvist and Roman Castell, with the HEA in the last book of the series.

Review
★★★★★ "I never even heard of Author A P von K'Ory before, but now I'm an avowed fan! For once, I have an author right after my heart when it comes to mature romance where the heroine is ballsier, smarter, and made of granite. I passed the books on to my daughter because these books elevate and celebrate strong women characters!" ~ Annabelle O
★★★★★ "Seduction of the most devilishly delicious fashion, romance that strides old charm and modern fiendishness and danger, cloak and dagger rivalry..." ~ Chris Lichter
★★★★★ "A superb confident read, engaging, informative, and you want to be Roman's object of sexual attention, even if but for one mind-boggling f*ck! I so understand Alyssa, and envy Shana." ~ Marion Bradford
★★★★★ "With the first book in the Golden Shana Series, several meals got burnt, and the kitchen barely escaped going up in flames too. With the subsequent books, a family member hovers around to yank the book off my hands with: Time to check the cooking now! Golden Shana Series should come with a federal warning seal." ~ Trish Emmet
★★★★★ "The characters in Ms von K'Ory's Golden Shana Series are refreshingly original and none of the carbon copy cardboard billionaire alpha BS that swamp the erotic romance book market. The protagonists are intelligent, cultured, and turn to raging sex divinities in bed. The pages sizzle as the volcanic heat radiating off the pages..." ~ Ricka Bernadino

About the authors
A P Von K'Ory was born in Kisumu, the capital city of Luoland, Kenya, to the Luo royal houses of K'Orinda and Yimbo. She was sent to a public school in Yorkshire, England, when she was too young to say "sod off". She studied Economics, Literature, and Journalism in London, graduating with firsts as a journalist from the London School of Journalism, as well as an economist from the London School of Economics.
Love took her to Bavaria, Germany where she further studied Germanistics and German-specific Economics and Socio-Philosophy. Her most recent personal achievement is her Ph.D. in Sociology and Geo-Politics in Germany, making her total number of doctorates five. She regards knowledge as a lifelong quest of learning something new.
Writing entered her world when A P was about five and never left. Apart from her numerous and published articles, theses, and papers, A P’s first novel and personal favorite, Khiras Traum, was published in 2004 in German. There followed eight romance novels, including the award-winning Bound to Tradition trilogy. Her nonfiction book Darkest Europe and Africa's Nightmare: A Critical Observation of Neighboring Continents was published in New York.
In between other jobs (e.g. working as a cleaner in a mental asylum in northern Germany - great plots there just waiting for her!) and as a freelance journalist since 1980, she gives lectures and seminars in various German, Austrian, and Swiss universities, colleges and high schools on topics ranging from socio-economy in Africa, Business English, African literature and the socio-ethnological conflicts in the traditions of Africans and Europeans in particular, and the West in general.
A P is the winner of six awards from four continents, the last one being the Achievers Award for African Writer of the Year 2013 in the Netherlands. The Selmere Integration Prize was awarded her in 2014 for her engagement in helping African Women in the Diaspora cope with a variety of domestic and social problems. The Proposal, a short story, won the Cook Communications first prize in 2010 and is published in an American anthology Africa 2012. In 2012, she won the Karl Ziegler Prize for her commitment to bring African culture to Western society in various papers, theses, and lectures. Again in 2012, her book Bound to Tradition: The Dream was nominated for the 2012 Caine Prize by the Author-me Group, Sanford, and in 2013 she was shortlisted for the Commonwealth Writers Prize.
Von K’Ory has a large extended family; she lives in Germany, France, Cyprus, and Greece with her husband, son and two grandsons.

- Reviewed in the United States on July 4, 2017A must-read author... her (stories) are always full of emotional situations, lovable and sexy characters. "The Capture" grabbed me from page one and refused to let go until I read the last word. A P Von K'Ory writes the kind of books I love to read!
- Reviewed in the United States on June 6, 2018Bad boy billionaire Roman Castell is growing up. The real question is whether he’ll mature quickly enough to avoid losing his heart’s desire.
Golden Shana: The Capture is the sequel to Golden Shana: The Chase, which I reviewed last year. The novel continues the story of how dominant, arrogant, irresistible Roman Castell, used to having any woman he wants on his own terms (and to discarding her, when he gets bored), is thunderstruck at first sight of the remarkable Svadishana Lindqvuist, the “golden Shana” of the title. Shana is exquisite, exotic, cultured, brilliant, self-assured, as unrelenting as Roman when it comes to business; she’s also deeply damaged by an early sexual experience that has eroded her ability to trust any man. Still, she feels an overwhelming attraction to Roman. Though she has avoided men for more than a decade, satisfying her sexual needs with her close female friend Alyssa Lenz, Shana dreams of a love that will complete her, the way her parents complete one another. Some intuition tells her that Roman might be the person she has been waiting for.
The Capture follows the rocky development of Roman’s and Shana’s relationship. Gradually, with a patience and sensitivity he’s never exhibited with any other woman, Roman leads and comforts Shana, encouraging her to open her heart and body to him. When she finally does allow him to make love to her, that only strengthens their bond. The sex scenes in this novel are scaldingly hot, with an emotional authenticity that really grabbed me. Shana and Roman are so thoroughly compatible, physically, that it’s a bit scary. Indeed, in the midst of their ecstatic connection, they’re (rightly) a bit frightened themselves.
As the story unwinds, both external forces and their own insecurities threaten their unique love. To avoid revealing too much of the plot, I won’t go into details, but as a reader I had the sense that, as fulfilling as it is for both of them, their relationship hangs by a thread.
The first volume of this series really pulled me in. I devoured the second. The characters are rich, complex, and realistically flawed. At first glance Roman might seem the classic alpha hero, but his desperate need for Shana reveals the cracks in his polished facade. He’s terrified he’ll lose her; when she appears to choose Alyssa over him, he’s so shattered he runs halfway around the world to escape from his own despair. This sort of intense feeling is totally new to him. He needs to grow and change in order to keep Shana—indeed, to be worthy of her.
Near the end of The Capture, however, he reverts to his earlier self, making a choice that is bound to end badly. I wanted to shake him, to yell at him as one does in a horror film, “No! No, don’t go in there! Don’t do that!” I found that I really cared what happened to him and to Shana. I was appalled that he could be so stupid.
Alas, the book ends without any sort of resolution. After two hundred and fifty pages, I really wanted a happily ever after. However, there’s clearly a lot left to Roman’s and Shana’s story, which continues in a third volume, Golden Shana: The Untouchable. There’s a sneak peek at the end of this book, but as far as I can tell, The Untouchable has not yet been released.
I really hope the third book will come out soon. I need to know what happens next.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 9, 2018This action-packed, erotica sequel is a magnificent follow up to the Golden Shana series. Roman Castell and Shana Lindqvuist, continues their sultry love affair despite all the outside forces that are trying to pull them apart. Like the first, I found this book to be very well-written, descriptive, suspenseful from start to finish.
I received my complimentary copy in exchange for a fair honest review.

- Reviewed in the United States on March 22, 2017" I heard her voice: Oh God yes, Roman. Take me to bed. A man's woman. My woman. Strange chemicals flooded my brain in both horror and elation and most the most determined urge to revenge her. Shana found her sanctuary in me. I was enslaved to her with all my being."
In this enchanting and exciting erotic thriller "Golden Shana The Capture, finally Roman manages to win the heart of Shana the woman he was chasing and enfatuated with for sometime but without challenges, he has to fight off Alyssa Shana's friend who's clearly in love with him and the mother to be of his unborn child Marie who still cares for him. Enormously entertaining!
