A Szeqart Empire Corporation runs the prison for profit, making the males of several species fight as gladiators and cage fighters as part of a reality show that never ends.

The corporation brings in females for the males to hunt in a jungle maze. Once Coraz wins his mate, he must continue fighting in the cages and the arena to keep her.

Coraz isn't sure about the fated mate phenomenon; he only knows he desires Ria'tee when their eyes meet. As they fall in love, he wants a better life for them.

But no one has ever escaped from Soliv Four. If they could be the first, could they ever go home?

This is the conclusion of the story begun in Soliv Four.

Clarissa Lake grew up watching Star Trek and reading Marvel Comics. She attended science fiction and fantasy conventions where she met many well known science fiction authors and attended their readings and discussion panels. They included scifi greats Anne McCaffery, CJ Cherry, George RR Martin, Ben Bova, Timothy Zahn, Frederik Pohl, Orson Scot Card.

After years of fruitless efforts to get her books published traditionally, she discovered Kindle Direct Publishing and became an Indie author-publisher.

While she loves scifi, she always thought there should be more romance so she started writing it hot and steamy.

    This is the 2nd book I've read written by Clarissa Lake; I can’t wait to read more of her books.

    This is the 2nd book in the Szequart Prison Planet Series; it needs to be read in order. The story continues from the previous book. I loved Ria’Tee & Coraz’s characters.

    If you enjoy sci-fi romance, this is a good solid one. A slight twist from most, the heroine is the non-human. I did not read the first book in this series - so there are some details I might have missed - but easily followed the storyline. I recommend this book and am looking forward to other books from this author.

    Thoroughly enjoyed this read. A deceived woman - Ria'tee, thinking she had signed up for an alien mate, only to find herself on a prison planet. There she meets Coraz who knows she is his mate. He wins and claims her in the mate maze hunt. From there she learns about him and his fellow warriors. It is not a safe place for her or any mated female. But on a trip to the beach, they find a crashed ship, then as the others discover, there are more. There are fights and threats that have to be put to rest before the team can escape the planet. All to enjoy their HEA with their mates.

    This is a bit of a twist as the female is alien and the male is human in this one. The females are tricked and sent to a prison. The women have no say in what happens to them and it does have a lot of action throughout the book. A few women are lucky and end up with good mates. The women aren't completely helpless and they are all strong women. There is some abuse so if that bothers you might want to skip this book. I will be looking for more books from this author I loved the way she told the story

    This story is intense from start to finish. Action, danger and hot love.
    A powerful warrior set up and sent to prison. A woman that wanted a better and safer life as a bride. Ria'tee and Coraz would never have met if it weren't for dirty profiteering and trafficking. Both trapped on the prison planet, he wins her in a televised mate hunt. Violence is the life here. Will they ever find a way to escape?

    This is a nice story overall but essentially a duplicate of book 1 renamed to Coraz; don’t understand why this is a two book series when the same character and entire storyline was also in book 1. Don’t buy book 2 as you already read it in book 1.
