After retiring early from the new home construction industry, she now divides her time between northern and southern California.She has a grown son who inspired her to write her award-winning debut novel, No Way Home. Although she began her writing career later in life, once she started, she couldn't stop!Her work focuses on creating relatable stories and characters that transcend genres and encourage her readers to imagine what they would do if thrown into the unique, imaginative situations her protagonists end up in.

    An amazing end to an amazing journey. If you enjoyed No Way Home and Finding Home, you are going to love how this narrative ends in Escaping Home. The gang you have come to know and love - I've always enjoyed the consistent, almost sibling, relationship between Frank and Christine - are back together for one last hurrah, and they have brought their families with them. The challenges they must overcome would have tried the bravery and resourcefulness of Peter Pan and his lost boys. And this fine author ties everything up in a believable bow at the end with a deserved flourish that sets the world to rights and leaves everyone where they should be. I read it in one sitting, so pick a lazy Saturday, turn off your cell phone and enjoy this experience. Kudos Christy Cooper-Burnett (rumor has it she is well into her next novel - I cannot wait!)

    I am so sorry to see this series of books end. It has been a wonderful, exciting story that became totally engrossing as the story progressed. Absolutely everything was wrapped up just beautifully by the end of the three book series but I am still sad to say goodby to these exciting characters.

    Escaping Home: A Time Travel Historical Adventure (A Christine Stewart Time Travel Adventure Book 3), my third read from author Christy Cooper-Burnett and the concluding book of an outstanding trilogy! An enjoyable 195 page time travel thriller picking up from where book 2 left off. “I'm voluntarily leaving a review of it." The gifting of this book did not affect my opinion of it. I look forward to reading more from this author. If you liked Quantam Leap & Diana Gabaldon's Outlander Saga you'll enjoy this trilogy. Without spoiling anything I have to say the ending choked me up & brought tears to my eyes. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

    Having read the other two books in the series this one didn't disappoint, it was as good as the first two.
    If you like a good read and story with time travel then this is one not to miss. I will give no spoilers as other reviewers have said a few bits, just read all three and you will enjoy them.
