I started my journey as a reader but quickly learned how much I enjoyed everything about romance, so I picked up the pen in 2017 and haven't looked back. Writing various genres, paranormal romance is my go-to; however, I do have a few mysteries and contemporary romances under my belt.

My favorite books involve characters that aren't perfect and have room to grow or a good mystery you can't easily solve. With each new book, I keep this in mind and enjoy creating complex worlds where my characters take the stage.

When I am not creating amazing new worlds for my readers to get lost in, I enjoy spending time with my husband and my two rescue dogs, Sammie and Jake.

I have read all of K. R. Halls books and love every one of them. Vega is part of the Fallen Starlight Series.

Vega is a fallen starlight that is destined to end a war between werewolves and Vampires. But the only way for this to happen is for her to be found and mated to her true mates. Yes, I said mates. Two Alpha wolves and two vampires that are cousins. Once she has fallen they will have to find her or loose her forever. Will fate let this happen or will other beings get in the way?

If Reverse Harems are what you like then I would recommend this book. I’m looking forward to all the others in this series.

I definitely recommend this book and author.

This is a cute easy read with some unique story points. Vega is a fallen star who was foretold to bond shifters and vampires. She has one year to mate with them or risk turning into a dreaded umbra. There’s some slice of life vibes and pacing.
I wish there had been some more character development beyond Vega needing to understand the world she landed on. It’s an interesting, but slower read

I gave this a shot as the concept behind the book - a fallen star who needs to find her soulmates to save the world - sounded unique and interesting. The execution of was not good. Gave it two stars for the premises.

The writing is juvenile at best with unnecessary description of details. Mostly telling, not a lot of showing. An example “Tense muscles were the sign of her anxiety.” We don’t need you to tell us that tense muscles mean anxiety. Would have been better to say “her posture was rigid and her muscles were tense.” Readers know that means she was anxious. It reads more like it was written by a high school student.

There is very little character development and growth. I did read the whole book, and I have no idea what the personalities are of the 5 main characters because there is no character development other than some minor references to one having trouble controlling their wolf.

The main characters fall in love, somehow, but the reader has no idea how. There is no growth, no actual falling in love. It’s all plot, and it’s boring and predictable.

This author needs to take work on their writing craft and get a developmental editor. They have a good idea. They just need to learn how to execute better.

I’m giving this a 3 star rating even though it was a DNF for me because I just couldn’t get in to it and didn’t get far - maybe it is actually pretty good. Leaving this review more for myself and my horrible memory than for anyone else. LOL

The idea seems promising, but reads like an encyclopedia. The prose reads like a young writer concerned with conveying every fact possible rather than telling a compelling story.

I'll admit that I haven't read a lot of Reverse Harem because I usually can't find some that I enjoy but this one was a nice surprise. I was immediately pulled into the story. If you do like RH, I would highly recommend this one. It's a very well written story that is easy to follow and will keep your interest.

Vega is a star that is waiting to fall to find her true mates. This prophecy will end the war between the vampires and the were wolves uniting them after centuries of war. Sirius , Sterling Zeke and Tarak have been waiting for their fallen star . Will she come and will they find her before the Umbar find her. Will they be able to find her before it is too late or will they miss their one chance at true happiness .
What can I say we have wolves and vampires and a fallen star . Sirius and Sterling are alpha twins who are also wolf shifters . They are well they are sexy as wolves are and protective . Zeke and Tarak are cousins and also vampires who well can be brooding and dark . They are all strong and oh sexy . They are total opposites to each other but when they are together they all work well . Vega well she is basically a naive child when we first meet her and she does grow but there are moments where she is just too sweet . She needs to toughen up . I kind of found her to be a little boring at moments in the book . Oh don't get me wrong the characters are well written but I think the author could of made them more complex as they went through the story .
This is a new twist on a reverse harem and it is a good story line . The author took us on an adventure . The characters are well written and you will like them . I did find myself drifting a bit at the start of the book but I did get into the story by the end of chapter 2. Over all I truly enjoyed this book and loved the premise of the story . So if you want a good story with sexy vampires and alpha wolf shifters and a fallen star check it out .

Unique! I really enjoyed this new and interesting concept with fallen stars and destined mates. The story was fast paced and steamy.

The storyline had promise, but the writing felt like a high school student. Very stilted writing, overuse of the thesaurus, just didn't flow or feel natural. The story was not exciting, I did not finish the book. Would suggest the author develop their writing more before publishing anything else.
