Writing is my passion. Being a mom is my everything. I have two amazing young men and I couldn’t be prouder of the men that they are growing in to!

If I could tell you one thing about myself, it would be that I am a true introvert and LOVE the idea of losing myself into a book. I wrote my first series, Worth the Wait for one reason... hope.

I love the idea of a happily ever after. If I can give one person who’s read the series the hope that everything will be okay, then my job is complete!     This is the second book by Tamara Whitlow that I have read, and it’s an amazing read! Wow, just wow! This one hit a little close to home. I related to Renee a lot because of her family and how they treat her. I didn’t like Jace at first, but he grew on me! He has a story that I don’t want to spoil, but that man! He has a heart of gold!

    I loved seeing Renee grow and Jace grow as well. I cried buckets a few times, I laughed, I smiled so much! There’s a twist in here that I didn’t see coming and I gasped out loud! Ahhh just read this book. There may be triggers though. I will definitely read this book again. I want more of Jace and Renee!! There’s some spice, so definitely 18+. But give this book a read. My heart 🥰🥺

There was some downfalls for me at the incredibly short chapters that honestly could’ve been put together. The book could’ve been 20 chapters and I would’ve still read it. The Fl was cute, I like powerhouse women and she had a couple of those moments. I like the ML as well but, not as much as the FL. The side characters were strong in the story and I loved a strong side character it adds to the fantasy.

    I loved seeing the story of Jace and his "Firefly" Renee unfold. Both had gone through a lot in the past and they had their ups and downs in their relationship but ultimately love won. Renee now has a newfound family and Jace knows how to love again. I honestly can't wait to read book 2 to see more of their story.

    I started off this book by hating Jace but by the end of the book, my views had changed. It's a short read but it was engaging all through. I sympathised with both Jace and Renee as different things came up in their respective lives but they took them in a stride.
