Mature teen to adults will find Pseudocide - Sometimes You Have to Die to Survive's story of a walk out of life to be intriguing. The premise (and the definition of the term 'pseudocide') lies in faking one's death to embark on a new life.
D. Donovan, Senior Reviewer, Midwest Book Review.
Fast-paced with unexpected twists, PSEUDOCIDE intrigues and satisfies yet leaves you thinking about the characters long after the conclusion."

Donovan, Senior Reviewer, Midwest Book Review.

From the Author

Have you ever wanted to escape your life for a minute? Reinvent yourself and be someone else?
Pseudocide is defined as an act of faking your death, typically to escape a bad circumstance. History has numerous accounts of people faking their own death. From famous celebrities to unknown men and woman who have attempted to hide and run away from their lives. Some of them have been discovered, some have not. The mystery and secrecy lie and never knowing the ones who have succeeded. The stories of those who attempt to fake their death is intriguing. Traveling the world and visiting off-the-beaten-path destinations has introduced me to a variety of settings and incredibly interesting people. Living on the Sea of Cortez in Mexico and meeting a variety of characters, who in fact want to reinvent their life, inspired me to investigate how difficult it would be to change your name, your identity, and your life.
T
he digital age has made this occurrence much more difficult.
Digital Footprints.
What are your digital footprints?
We all have them-- however, it is easier for a younger person to have less.
This is more than a twisty suspense tale, it is also a coming-of-age story, a brave tale of choices and second chances with a strong young protagonist.
I hope you read Sunday's story. The novel deals with mature themes, and current social issues that face all of us.

An intense story filled with teenage angst and a twisty plot that grabs a hold of the reader and keeps them guessing. Sunday Foster is an unlikely heroine who has everything stacked against her. When she decides to fake her own death, leaving the boy she loves, the reader is both intrigued at where the story will go and afraid for the young girl alone in the world. Part of the magic of this book is Sunday’s ability to keep going when all seems lost and the way she and the supporting cast of characters change and grow along with way. The book deals with difficult subjects—death, bullying, rape, school shootings—while still being entertaining. The author did an excellent job of weaving together suspense, intrigue and interesting characters to make an exciting tale. I recommend this read!

I needed a break from a steady diet of non-fiction but reading Pseudocide ended up being a very short break because I couldn’t put it down until I got to the end! A really fun and satisfying read.
