When the big gorgeous Cire warrior comes to rescued Neera she knows she's found someone special. But as we know rescues never do run smoothly, but watching friendships form, parental love grow and passion and love blossom this story is the perfect read that did not disappoint. This series is a must read each time a new one is released. Just the right about of action, suspense and passion are what makes these books such a pleasure to read. An escape was in the works, he knew he could do it, only the adventure was just beginning. Claire and Arcosta want a life together with the twins. So the adventure continues with the help of friends who came through for them and then became even better friends. It was such a good story. The characters are so interesting and identifiable, even the aliens. Happy reading and a happily ever after.

    I have loved this entire series. This book is no exception. It is a nice pairing of an older Cire male, Arcosta, and a fortyish earth female, Claire. As in all of this series there are children, specifically a set of young twins who were the product of a mad scientist and have lived in a lab all their lives. There is a good subplot involving a young female, Neera who is supposed to be rescued by Arcosta. Let the plot twista and subplots begin!!!!
    And there is a lot of adventure and rescuing.Claire is always strong, though a little hesitant and frightened after 2 or 3 months with Dr Mad Scientist!! I should probably say I have read all the other books twice and this one fit right in.Although this is a series of stand-alones, It is best to read them in order so you understand the Red Death and its effect on Arcosta's people. The authors have set up the world with lots of detail in the first two of the series.

    This was a wonderful story! Arcosta, a Cire alien, is hired by his boss to rescue his boss's cousin who has been kidnapped by slave traders to sell. He finds her and more. He finds Claire, his human mate, and the twins she is taking care of while they are held in a laboratory by a crazy scientist experimenting on Claire.

    Arcosta manages to rescue them, but it is not simple. There is lots of action as they attempt to return to the space station. Their enemies are not willing to let go of them so easily. But eventually they get their hea with the home and family they both always wanted. Claire and Arcosta make a wonderful couple. He is protective of her and the children. I liked that she fell for him so fast and pretty much accepted that they are meant to be together so soon.

    I really do like Honey Phillips’s books. Many of Honey’s book are a little out there & I like that about her writing. This is my first foray into the books by Bex McLynn & I’m enjoying them.

    Being the sixth book in the series we know the basic formula but thankfully Honey and Bex add enough variables to each story and to new characters to keep it interesting.

    The love scenes are both sweet and passionate with a touch of humour they were not outrageous or out of the box which is OK because considering the circumstances that would be icky.

    I’ve been enjoying all the books in the series very much and I think that if you’re a sci-fi romance fan there will be enough World building and suspense in a series that has a lot of unknowns still. You have Six book to start with when you dive in & using Kindle Unlimited just makes it even more worth your time & money so enjoy!
