I love Christian Romance. I forget sometimes, when I'm reading other books, just how uplifting they can be. Characters that pray, trust God, and keep Christ in Christmas are precious. Seeing God's work behind the scenes is uplifting.
4.75 stars, as there is a mystery that's mentioned several times then disappears. Otherwise, another great book that celebrates the Heroes of Freedom Ridge.

The story was compelling and the editing good. It lost a star because things were going strong and in a few pages, everything was tied up in a nice little bow. Somehow, this couple’s history prevented that from being a realistic outcome.

Persuaded by the Hero is a sweet, inspiring, second chance romance. I love the chemistry between Bryce and Sabrina. This well written book definitely reminds the reader that God is in control. I enjoyed watching Bryce and Sabrina work toward a revived romance. I never saw that ending coming - but it is perfect! My interest was captured in the beginning and kept me reading until the end!

Second chances, a secret child, and a marriage secret revealed...what's not to like? This was a fun one! I highly recommend it!

This is another great installment of the Freedom Ridge series. Elle E. Kay did a wonderful job of telling the story of Bryce and Sabrina. They married after high school but his father forced a separation by annulment. Bryce was sent off to rehab then joined the military. After his grandfather passed away, Bryce inherited the Freedom Ridge Lodge. During their years apart Sabrina had been hired by his grandfather to work at the lodge. This is a story of faith and forgiveness. Can Sabrina risk a second chance with Bryce?

The story between Sabrina & Bryce is predictable. Their young marriage broken by his meddling father. They reconnect 7 years later and she has a young son. Sabrina resists his attempts at reconnecting because she doesn’t want her and her son’s hearts broken if Bryce leaves again. Well edited. Characters are introduced with no background information which I found annoying. Like Van, who is he? Perhaps they are described in another book in the series. Predictable ending.
