    A new to me author!

Fun romance between a widow and a suspense writer. Holly wants to rent the house her mother left her to a woman and when she receives an email from Noel, she immediately assumes the person is a lady...imagine her surprise when a man shows up...

Noel finds her feisty and cute and can't get her out of his head. Holly has no intention of getting into a romantic situation, so he has his work cut out for him.

Cute and mostly sweet with just a couple slight sexual innuendos. But I love that the gospel message is clearly presented.

The characters being named Holly and Noel (through pronounced like coal) seemed a little too contrived for me, and I almost skipped reading this book for that reason. I'm glad I didn't. It's a sweet story with delightful characters who live faith-filled lives and develop their love naturally.

Holly is putting her mother's house up for rent and hopes to find a nice young lady to rent to. Noel answers her online ad and rents it for three months. There is a problem when Noel comes to the house and isn't a she but a he! What is Holly to do now? She doesn't feel she can have a man living in her mother's house right next door to her! To top it off, Noel is a writer! What happens when he tells her he has used her to help write? Will Holly warm up to Noel? Only one way to find out, read this great story by Elle E. Kay.

I was very pleased with this story and recommend it to anyone. Love can come when we least expect it

My name's Holly and I LOVE Christmas but this was so trite I count even finish it. If you like Christmas romances that always end with it snowing -even in Florida- you might enjoy this. It was clean up to the third chapter or so.

I felt this was a very well-developed short story/novella. A lot of shorter stories are so bland with no character development. We could always get more on these characters, but I felt what we did get of their backstory was definitely sufficient for this book. I enjoyed these two. A fun short story. Well-written.

Elle Kay has written a lovely story set at Christmas with two very interesting leading characters who both come with baggage. However their hesitance is overcome before their HEA in a most believable manner.
