The Elemental Chronicles: Box Set (Books 1-4) Kindle Edition
The Fire King is burning our realms, and my sister sits on my throne doing nothing.
Not anymore. I’ve sacrificed myself to the Elemental Gods for my freedom and the power to save my people before it is too late.
Earth. Water. Wind. The three most vital Elements of their kind come for me. Together, we will claim all the kingdoms from Fire, but first, they will claim me.
When I saw Tate, my pulse raced to see my long-ago friend. He is the huntsmen who knows the forest and the animals within them. His protective and possessive nature must learn to share. I may be his mate, but I also belong to the other Elements.
Together, we must get out of the Earth Realm alive. The curse my sister imprisoned me with makes the ogres thirst for my blood. There is one that leads them all, and I’m afraid even to wonder what drives his hunger.
Taken by Fire
The Prince of Fire set his trap, and now this ogre has again imprisoned me.
He is my enemy, his father is sweeping our realms in fire, and he thinks I will give in to him? He has another thing coming.
Earth, Water, and Wind will come for me because I am theirs. I am not his. I could never belong to a Fire Element that only knows how to destroy.
I only stay with him to survive until I can make my move. He is not my destiny as he claims and there will be no claiming.
But… his power is persuasive—the heat of his body I need on cold nights. I curse the Elemental Gods for making him so seductive.
Exposed by Water
My sister took everything from me, and it is time I take it back. Returning home to my kingdom is the only way to claim what is mine.
This journey begins with me losing my Water Element and another taking his place.
Jacob saved me when I needed my Element the most. Although I hate to admit it, he balances me where Brier didn’t.
As the curse is lifted, he becomes my teacher and friend, showing me how to use my powers. Falling in love with him is surprising and new.
I will make him my husband, lover, and the new Water King because he balances me and my kingdom.
With my newfound powers, this drive to fulfill my sacrifice is taking root inside me. I am burning hotter each day, and with only one more Element, I am desperate for his claim—my Wind.
Fused by Wind
With the bond of Wind, he has fused us all, completing my sacrifice to the Elemental Gods and giving new life for the future. Now we must protect it.
My Water King steps up, protecting our kingdom and the other realms as Fire, Wind, and Earth journey with me to the Fire Realm.
Bringing down the Fire King has always been my goal, but this battle isn’t mine. My Fire Prince must bring down his own father; to do so, he risks us all.
The Fire King isn’t the only danger now, as The Elemental Fire God has a new demand. The broken Water Element, Brier, is in his sights and using my child to claim him.
Ultimately, can I betray my husband’s to save my child? Will I lose everything just when I have found them? Loved them?
This is the first series with connecting stories by Gina Manis.
A standalone novel written within this time period shares a look into the Wind Realm and is called Arrow’s Wind.
A trilogy you may enjoy is the Fifth Elemental, which shares the future of Brier, the broken Element, and Alice, the nun. (Both are characters within this series.)
The Wind Witch Series is a thousand years into the future with descendants of Celine and her Elements.
A short prequel, Elemental Ruin, will take you into a new generation of Elemental Magic.

About the author

Gina Manis grew up in South Alabama, where country living is a way of life. She has a small farm with lots of animals, and she is proud to live a simple life with her family.
Growing up, she had problems with reading until a friend had her open up a romance book one day, and the lights came on. She started to write poetry and short stories, and though she liked it, she didn't feel she was good enough to become a writer.
She worked hard in her career as a manager to businesses until she started her own online, where she was successful for eleven yrs.
As her family grew with a husband and four children, a mother and lots of animals, she gave it up to live a more leisure life and started writing in her free time again.
Now she is looking to publish all the books she has written finally. Romance books have always been a passion of hers, and that is what she writes. She loves fantasy, suspense, mystery, and giving birth to characters that go in them.
Her first book to publish, The Water Princess, will be just that, the first. There will be many more to come in the future.

- Reviewed in the United States on February 21, 2022Celine is a princess living in a convent because she was cursed by her jealous older sister. After asking help from the elements, three men are sent to her to free her from her curse: Brier, Lindon and Tate. Together they have to find a way back to the water kingdom, while avoiding ogres and other dangers on their path.
This story flows easily and the author takes her time to do a decent character and world building. It makes for an original story where the author doesn't shy away from spicy scenes, but where story and plot have priority. I liked the fact that in this series it feels like the men have more personal struggles to overcome than the fmc. Another major plus for me is the fact that this isn't an instant harem; some relationships develop faster than others, and the focus changes throughout the different books that are included in this boxset.
If you prefer a fast burn and instant connection between people, this isn't the series for you, but if you enjoy connections that need time to build and that need to conquer a lot on the way, I believe you might like this one. I enjoy the way this series focusses on the connections between people, and how all of them need to find balance within themselves as well. They are all connected with their elements in a different way, and balance with all these powers doesn't come easily. It makes it into a series that is highly focussed on the characters and their personal growth.
I recommend reading this series: it is something different than other RH books and it might take some time to get into, but it is also enjoyable to read.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 2, 2021This author has created a well developed fantasy world with interesting characters and exciting dialog. Unfortunately for me, there is far too much detailed erotica that has to be skipped through, but so many "best selling" authors do likewise so perhaps it is to be expected. So your choice, read graphic sexual detail that may or may not extend the story line or just skip forward to enjoy an exciting fantasy tale.
