- Reviewed in the United States on February 22, 2022This was a wonderful book, that I thoroughly enjoyed. Marisa Masterson always writes a great book and this is no exception. Wren has feelings for her friend Reynolds, but when her cousin writes that she has found the perfect husband for her, she puts him off. She is suspicious of her prospective groom from the minute he steps off the train and Reynolds still says she is going to be his wife. This was a very entertaining story, that has humor, suspense, mystery and of course a HEA. Another wonderful addition to this series. Highly recommend.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 11, 2021We continue from Sookie and Ruby’s stories. Wren has a man who feels led to marry her but her cousin is sending a possible groom. Deception and attempted murder. Can love conquer all?
- Reviewed in the United States on July 17, 2023Loved this continued story. Now the family is complete. Wren questions her feelings and her sense of obligation in determining where to place her affection. A satisfying story and lovely ending.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 11, 2021Wren has a friend who wants to marry her and a fiance on the way. She feels she must honor her matchmaking aunt's choice for her but will she follow her instincts and marry the right man? Danger and mystery surrounds Wren and also her friend/suitor Reynolds. This story was too exciting to put down. I especially loved the epilogue and the recipe at the end.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 30, 2022This is a beautiful mail order bride story! The plot will pull you in and keep you engaged. The characters are well developed. ENJOY!
- Reviewed in the United States on November 29, 2021A rollercoaster ride of emotions from love, fear, understanding, endearment, nervousness this story has it all. Two people having to endure so much before they can be wed.
This is part of a series and although it is a stand alone and Anne read without reading the others ( asi did) I think I would had understood more had I read these in order or at least Sookies story. But if you can’t read in order don’t pass this one up the author gives you enough background that you aren’t terribly lost.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 26, 2021This is a very good series and the story is a good one about a young woman that finds love after several twists
