Wendy Zuccarello resides in New Jersey with her husband, two children, and two dogs. She graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science. Zuccarello spent 20 years working as a veterinary technician. She also enjoys photography and watching movies with her family.

    Kennedy is a woman that has grown up without friends or a family. This causes her to endure a severe panic disorder. The man she thought loved her, leaves her and this only makes matters worse for her, as she feels like everyone is going to abandon her and leave her high and dry. She soon finds herself accepting that she is going to be alone for the rest of her life. She decides to take a trip to Maine, but doesn't realize that while there, she's going to meet a man there, named Tag, that will change her life forever and that will show her what real love TRULY is! This book was fantastic. I resonated with Kennedy because I also deal with a severe panic disorder. Seeing the representation through Kennedy really made me feel less alone in the world. I just wanted to wrap her in a hug and tell her everything is going to be ok. If you decide to read this book, be sure to keep your tissues at hand because you WILL need them!

    There are so many people currently living with mental illness, and Finding An Anchor beautifully portrays a young woman living with panic disorder. With a very relatable character who preservers through severe anxiety, this novel is a real page turner with many exciting and romantic adventures.
