Daring Dr. Devlin: An Interracial Medical Romance Kindle Edition
But Dr. Cullen has a problem with men who can't keep it in their pants. Her ex-husband was one such man - handsome, sexy and a womanizing pr*ck.
When transferred to a new hospital, she takes one look at Dr. Devlin McCarthy and knows he's trouble. Her mission is to stay clear of him, but those darn eyes keep drawing her in. Fighting against what her heart wants will be one hell of a conflict. But she must keep him at bay, if only to save herself from involuntary cardiac rhythms.

- Reviewed in the United States on August 7, 2019Samantha is the perfect doctor anyone would want, she is smart, independent, hard working, and her own person. She is weary of men thanks to her ex. Devin is self-aware, determined, persistent, and getting over heart ach due to his ex. The two learn they have what the other needs. This is a very good story, a quick read with realistic interesting characters. My only complaint is the poor editing. I expect better for any book released in its final form.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 12, 2019The story between Samantha and Devlin is a cute, coworkers-to-lovers slow build romance. Samantha is a dedicated ER doctor, know for not giving up on patients and Devlin is a cardiac surgeon who excels in his field.
Overall, it's a sweet book with no real angst. My only gripe is that this book was not properly edited before being released. There are numerous spelling and grammatical errors that should really have been caught before publication. Besides that, the story is decent.

- Reviewed in the United States on September 30, 2019Not a fan of the perpetually angry gilted lover heroine. No surprise the hero over comes her reticence by doggedly pursuing her. Rinse repeat. No surprises no real twist no resolution of extemporaneous elements brought up. Such as dealing with suicide plus Samantha's trust issues.
Not really worth the time investment.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 24, 2019This is a romantic comedy with a little bit of drama that morphs into a work place romance.
Two doctors with issues totally different attitudes and methods but out for the same outcomes. A interracial relationship with its up and downs trials .

- Reviewed in the United States on August 7, 2019Doctors Devlin and Samantha have a lot to learn about each other. They have pegged each other as nemesis without learning why. What they didn't know is that they have similar reasons for becoming doctors but misunderstandings kept getting in the way of what could be a beautiful relationship. Samantha had one no good man who cheated and she was under the impression that Devlin was of the same caliber. Will they ever get on the same page and learn about each other before it's too late?

- Reviewed in the United States on August 5, 2019Despite owning The Dirty by Design series by this author, this is my first read from her and I will eagerly be reading the rest of her bookshelf. I love her writing style! I also loved the strength of Dr. Samantha Cullen, just not her stubbornness at times. Though I understood her reluctance (given her past) to get involved with another doctor and colleague, she kept Dr. Devlin at arms length for far too long. I wanted them to get together earlier in the story but I'd definitely love to read more about this couple in the future.

3.0 out of 5 stars The story was ok
But the relationship was far too short. We were halfway through before they even had a date. They barely had any serious conversation. Her attitude was also far too abrasive for me. She was so judgmental, as if it’s his fault that he is beautiful. She wasn’t even trying to know who he was. The story about her transfer was a bit of her let down. Yes he intervened but it’s not like she wasn’t worthy of the opportunity. People get promotions for all sorts of reasons. On top of that he never tried to get anything in exchange so I’m not sure it was worth a blowup. Shame, the story could have done with being more fleshed out. As an aside her disdain for business was annoying because without money (or a donor) you cannot treat anyone. Also my personal pet peeve, her slapping him.
