K. Matt is a graduate of Philadelphia, PA's University of the Arts. Her interests in sci-fi, fantasy, horror, comics, and anime have inspired her to both write and illustrate her own work.
The books in the Hell Bent series are a combination of prose and graphic novels, and tend to be a mixture of (somewhat soft) sci-fi, urban fantasy, and horror. It is something of a pet project for her, a pet that she feeds with time, and that feeds on her sleep.
Her artwork can be found at kaylamatt.webs.com.
Helen Glynn Jones writes about kissing and dragons and vampires, as well as spicy contemporary romance under the name Isadora Love. She's also had short stories appear in several anthologies and publications.

Dora Blume writes fast-paced Paranormal Romance and Urban Fantasy. When she’s not writing spunky female characters and their dreamy love interests, she’s binge watching reruns of Psych, hiking in the nearby woods with her dogs, or cooking something delicious. - Reviewed in the United States on December 23, 2020I received a free copy of White Night, Black Days which is part of the Bloodsprot Anthology via booksprout and I’m voluntarily leaving a review. After reading it I went ahead a purchased the Anthology so I can read the rest of the stories.
This is the 1st book I've read written by Helen Jones; she has done a great job at writing a good book.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.
I loved the characters.

- Reviewed in the United States on December 2, 2020This review is for Vamps will be Vamps by C. L. Cannon. The story was short but extremely well written. Can I just say that Stella is a bad ass chick, and I cannot wait to read more about her. The ending, Wow!
- Reviewed in the United States on December 1, 2020I got a ARC of the first short story in this anthology. I loved it so much I bought the Anthology. Great quick reads for over a lunch break or waiting at the doctors. All of the stories are vampire related.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 10, 2020As always I am never disappointed with this wonderful authors writing. She takes you on a journey that I have never read before. Many different characters, fae, vampires and all other sorts that we think are only myths. The main character of this book leaves you cheering for her success as her “boss” since her on a mission where he does not plan on her returning. She has character, strength and compassion. I would be very happy to read a sequel as I would like to continue the journey of her
- Reviewed in the United States on November 30, 2020I had the chance to read both C.L. Cannon and Aimee Shaye's stories in this collection, and if those are any indication at how the rest of the set is, I can't wait to read more!
Vamps Will Be Vamps by C.L. Cannon was a fun short story, in which I was thoroughly surprised. Without giving any major spoilers away, the story I THOUGHT I was reading was great, and fun and then BAM. Plot twist. I absolutely loved it!
Shadows of Blood by Aimee Shaye was not my first taste of this author. I have read Aimee Shaye's current series, The Cursed Kingdom and I absolutely LOVE those books, so I knew going in I was probably going to like Shadows of Blood, and I was not disappointed. This author does have a flair for the mystical, magical and emotional and I really loved how those things layered in with this story in this collection.
I can't wait to read the other stories in this collection!!!
- Reviewed in the United States on January 3, 2021I bought this because it was highly recommend. I only read one story from start to end. "Vamps will be vamps" The twist was good, but the first quarter of the story was one character staring at themselves in a mirror and info dumping. The pacing in the short story was way off. There were a line or two of actual conversation between paragraphs of info dumps. It was such a boring way to tell a story. There were also inconsistencies. One was the villain had the other character restrained by both arms and without the "hero" freeing an arm they were able to attack with an arm. There were a lot more for such a short piece.
I tried reading a few others but they didn't really catch my attention.
On to the next vampire book!
- Reviewed in the United States on November 30, 2020I have read two of the stories in this anthology so far. After reading these two, I am very interested in reading more. I give it a solid 4.5 stars as of now.
Shadows of Blood by Aimee Shaye: 4/5
Decimus is going to be stricken from existence if he can't get his wife's reincarnation Ahana to remember her death and clear his name. Adding reincarnation and a bit of Indian religion to a vampire story kept it interesting. I would definitely be interested in a full length series version of this, starting with Draupati and Decimus in the past.
Vamps Will Be Vamps by C.L. Cannon: 5/5
Stella is looking for real monsters at the Flesh Fair. Silas is a vampire looking for his next meal. Very short but very enjoyable story.
