    TWO HEARTS' CHRISTMAS PROMISE is a love story that opens in layers, like the petals of a rose, over several time periods. All along, as you watch them grow and their love deepen despite various obstacles, you just know they are meant for each other.

    In high-school, when hockey player Sean Reynolds saves Alexandra Evans, a skater determined to make the figure skating team, from an accident when she falls though thin ice.

    Ten years later, when she agrees to marry him. Even at this point, there are emotional obstacles to their love story. Sean, now an Air Force Lieutenant, wonders: Will their engagement hurt her public image as a news correspondent? Despite these doubts, they make a promise to each other to meet at Dragonfly Point, in December, come what may. Sean whispers, “I promise. Nothing will stop me. What about you?” and she answers, “Have I mentioned that I love you too? I promise.”

    The following year, when Alexandra returns injured from a dangerous assignment, she breaks their engagement. Will she open to the possibility of love, despite the pain she suffered? Will they keep the promise they made to each other?

Reuniting after ten years with Sean Reynolds––her high school crush whom she feels was her one true love––Alexandra quickly agrees to marry him.

    Not only does this author nail the excitement of second chance love, the she takes the reader through the gut-wrenching emotion of loss when Alexandra’s face is disfigured by a car bomb explosion.

    Alexandra calls off her wedding and goes into hiding so no one can see her scarred face. But her assistant, Amanda, convinces her that Sean loves her regardless of how she looks, and she should live life instead of allowing the people who planted the bomb to shut her up.

    It doesn’t have to be Christmas to read this heartening story. If you need a feel good book that restores your faith in the human spirit and true love, I highly recommend TWO HEARTS' CHRISTMAS PROMISE.
