Seventeen-year-old Renee Deveraux is visiting Crystal Rock, Wisconsin with her parents at Christmastime when she meets Liam McAllister, the son of her mom’s best friend.     This book was so wonderful. It was heartwarming and we'll written! Since my husband is a Vietnam veteran, it was very realistic to me. He left for Vietnam when our son was only 6 weeks old and was gone a year. When he got back, he had nightmares for quite awhile. We had another son after he got back.

    Two Hearts’ Christmas Gift is a lovely story about two young people, Liam and Renee, who meet and fall in love when they are just seventeen years old. Each has a specific plan for their life. Renee plans to follow in her father’s footsteps and become a surgeon and Liam plans to join the Air Force. During the short time they spend together over the Christmas holiday, Liam rescues Renee from nearly freezing to death in a snowstorm and helps her to work through the horrible incident that ultimately left her out in the cold.     Renee Reversed was seventeen when her family went to Crystal Rock, Wisconsin for a vacation. Renee knew Quinn but didn't hew twin Liam. Quinn asked him to take her places and he wasn't happy till he saw her and knew she was the one for him.Except she was going to school to be a Dr. And he had plans to go the Air Force Academy. It would be years for both. Quinn and Renee went to friends to shedding but the snow starting coming down bad. Tom said Quinn car wouldn't stop so he would take them home. He took Quinn home then he stopped on the side of the road and tried to rape Renee. She hit him and jumped out of his truck. Quinn called Liam and he went looking for her. He found her covered in snow unconscious. He took her to their home and help her. They found out he was hurting other girls. She wasn't to become a Dr. and he went to the academy. He broke up with her because he kept being sent overseas. He finally decided to get a transfer so they could be together if possible. They got together and married. He got captured then got rescued. He Gor shot close to the spine and she had to operate on him.

    I was generous giving this novel three stars. I bought it thinking it was Christian fiction, and that is decidedly not the case. Aside from the cursing and sex outside marriage, the book spent 25 chapters on three 17-year old kids solving a mystery in a two-week time frame, and the next 10 or so chapters were like fast forwarding through the next 12 or 13 years. So many technical errors, as well! Quinn & Liam are twins, referred to as identical twins. However, one is male, the other female. The correct term would be fraternal twins. Additionally, Renee's family were from New Orleans & Renee had never seen snow. The author inexplicably moved New Orleans to North Carolina, where Renee would most definitely have seen snow. I can't believe I finished the book. I can't recommend it.
