    Another winner from Tamara Ferguson! Two Hearts’ Christmas Rescue is book 17 in the Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance series. I’ve read a few books in this series and this one is my favorite so far.

    After a bad break up, Kinley returns to her home town and runs an animal shelter. Jake, returns to town to catch his sister’s killer. To blend in, he works at the animal shelter as he has experience training service dogs.

    Jake had a crush on Kinley, who is a few years older than him, when he was a teenager. She doesn’t recognize him, but he sure recognized her.

    If you like a story with action and suspense, this story is for you. Toss in a few needy rescue pets and some Christmas magic and you’ll find a satisfying happily ever after, too.

What she doesn't know is that he is on a covert mission to capture an officer who escaped from prison and is believed to be in the area. This is a wonderful book, with twists and turns, and heartfelt emotions. I highly recommend reading it.

    Before reading this book I completed two well-edited novels so I noticed the stilted writing immediately. There also seemed to be a LOT of tell (instead of show) in the first chapter. I'm a bit surprised about the high reviews unless it's because later in the story there might be some nice animals?
