- Reviewed in the United States on October 4, 2015How to Survive a Stuffed Bear Attack is an absolute gem of a children’s book. It’s witty, clever, and the way it is written is simply fantastic. The author does such a magnificent job in writing, it came across as the main character, the teddy bear Max, was the one who wrote it. Be prepared, for once the attack of cuddly love begins, it is hard to stop.
If you have a child, this is a must pick up. Heck, even as an adult, this was a fun and enjoyable read.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 31, 2015I received this book in the mail today and read it as soon as I could. The story line and illustrations mesh together very well and the book is funny yet heartwarming at the same time. Older kids can read this book on their own; they can also read it to younger kids as well as parents and babysitters, etc. Only one word was more than two syllables so this is a plus for younger readers. I intend to give my book copy to my soon to be born grandson.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 5, 2016This book looks more like a Powerpoint presentation than an illustrated book. It's a series of not very professional computer illustrations with fonts look like they are lifted from Word. The language also lacks flair with no cute rhymes or quirkiness that might engage kids. It take about 1 minute to read, even if you are trying read it to kids with animation and suspense because there is not any stop-in-awe or stop-to-giggle moments. The narrative runs something like this: first do this... then do that... then buy a new teddy bear (sorry, spoilt the ending).
I hate to criticize Indie writers because I am a huge fan of children's book illustrators and the freelancer spirit, but this just doesn't come up to scratch. More effort required before going to press is my advice to the writer.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 24, 2015Top Secret. Maintain and be aware, stuffed bears are out to get you to love them. Max Bear shares some very secret information on how to maintain our relationship with our bear-y friends and to survive when they launch their attacks. It's a very cute story that was fun to read and share with any age.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 3, 2016I loved this book. It's not very long and the illustrations are adorable. I think every kid should have this book on their shelf. I know I'm getting the paperback, I already have the Kindle. Only requirement is when reading to a child they should be snuggling a teddy bear, for safety of course.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 12, 2015So adorable. Max bear does not only have power over kids, too. Yes, I'm at the will of the bear now. And with Christmas almost here, I might need to go and get an adorable stuffed bear. Oh, and kids will love this book too. It's very funny and engaging!
- Reviewed in the United States on November 2, 2016This is a cute story and my two daughters enjoyed it. I would recommend an editor or someone else to proofread. Two places the word you should have been your. Editing would also help with sentence structure. Other than that, the story was very cute. If the story would be edited, it would be a 5 star book.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 22, 2016A fun entertaining book for both adults and kids. I read it quite often to my little girl, and she thinks it is funny and silly and just right.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic fun!
I’m not really allowed to say much since it will get Max into trouble from the Secret Stuffed Bear Council but what I will say is get this book! If you don’t know what it says you will never survive a stuffed bear attack!
Thankfully I now know the secret, but I am not allowed to tell anyone else!
All in all a great a read for the young and the young at heart!
