    In this book, we follow Gwyn Foster. She has had one heck of a few months, as anything that can go wrong, has. First, she and her mother are robbed at gunpoint at their clothing store and she ends up on the run in her broken-down car. Next, when she stops for a snack, she ends up in a town facing an earthquake and she ends up pinned under a building and is hurt as a result. This is where Max comes into play. He is an EMT and somewhat of a "knight in shining armor." Max is on duty on the day that the earthquake hits and he's quick to action. He finds and saves Gwyn from the collapsed building that had her in danger. He refuses to leave her side. He soon finds out she's on the run, and he's willing to do whatever it takes to keep her protected. But, things have a way of catching up to us. So, what happens when everything catches up to Gwyn? Will she lose everything she's built with Max, or will he be able to convince her that she is safe with him? This book was amazing! It was exciting and the romance between Gwyn and Max was pure and beautiful! I HIGHLY recommend this book! ❤

    Wonderful OTT, instalove escapism! This book was just what I needed right now. It’s totally unrealistic, sugary sweet romance and I’m here for it. Max and Gwyn are instantly attracted to each other from the moment they meet. In a short span of time these two go through a lot of hardship, but make it out even stronger.

    There is completely no OW/OM drama. The steamy scenes are kind of ‘fade to black’ (no explicit descriptions) and there is a sweet epilogue. Romantic suspense light.

    I will be checking out other books by this author!
