I am so glad he had Sidney's back, there is nothing worst than a man being intimidated and spiteful over a woman that is smarter than them. My dear Sideny had it in spades. I loved the relationships he had with his brothers and hers with Chole for sure. I can't wait to finally see what's been going on with Ally, and get the full dynamics of Chole and Gregor's involvement. I need to know everybody's business!!!! However on another note. Not every single woman of color is short with ample breast and thick. Here lately that's all you seem to read about. It comes off like a stereotype, that women of color have to be short with big boobs and huge behinds. I hope this doesn't come off defensive, but I am pretty tired of the same narrative.

    The story was good! Just some parts I found unrealistic. Like how can she go so long without talking to her best friend? Like mot even checking on her or her sister. Okay Clay gave her updates but these girls like family to you and it takes months to see them and not much less to actually talk to them. I felt bad for Wade. Also, the scene at the club felt too intentional. I could understand Clay helping the woman not fall but would he get sued if she fall? It’s outside the club not inside? And the fact remains she didn’t fall. He could’ve helped her and make sure she didn’t fall and went on his way, the rest just felt like too much. I didn’t like the moment when they declared their love. Also, besides Sidney submitting to him and thinking her feelings I didn’t really see her love. Like with Clay he actually put actions to show her. I get her knew her longer due to his research but It wasn’t really shown why she loves him besides what he does for her. It wasn’t a bad story just feel it could’ve been better!

    Her characters are so well written and three dimensional. There’s never anything lacking in them or the plot. With some books you find yourself saying , “ so - and so should’ve said this or done that”. Not with any of the works of Blue I’ve read does my mind ever do that.

    This is a great book to the testament of the power of love. Every human wants to be loved even the ones , who swear differently. This book has characters that have yet to admit it to themselves , but they are all after love that binds soul to soul.

    It’s a delightful read. If you like Blue’s books you’re in for another treat. Kudos Blue, you’ve done it again.

From the start of the book you got to see Sid place her trust in someone other than herself, and Clay worked to show her how much her heart can be entrusted to him.
