    I loved this book so much, I'm saving to read again. Sydney & Kyler were so young yet very mature for their age. The book had the right amount of drama, mystery, suspense and romance which included some very sexy moments. I wish this would be made into a series featuring other characters in the book.

    “New beginnings are often disguised as painful endings.”

    Friendship. Resentment. Passion. Mystery. Regret. Trauma. Protector. Hunted. Perseverance. Steaminess. Loyalty.

    There are parts of the story that your heart will be pounding and you will feel like you are part of the mystery. There is twist and turns and until the very end you will still be guessing how the pieces for together.

    “Don’t underestimate me. I know more than I say, think more then I speak, and notice more than you realize.”

    This book will have you laughing, tearing up, fanning yourself, heart pounding and wanting to visit the lighthouses and see the transformation for yourself.

    “I thread my fingers through his soft curls, gripping them tightly so I don’t float away.”

    There has to be more books for this small town. There are many that I’d love their story to be told.

    Sydney was my yesterday, is my today, and will forever be my tomorrow.

    Life couldn’t get much better. Chief Carmichael not only got me into the police academy, but he gave me his blessing to marry Sydney.

    His daughter.

    The girl that makes me want to be better.

    Then out of the blue, she said she didn’t love me. And just like that, she was gone, leaving me devastated and broken. Not only because she left me, but her parents, the people that were more my parents than my own, were killed in a freak accident on the beach.

    I had my life all planned out. Kyler and I were so excited about our futures together. We’ve been dating since we were freshman, and I knew it was just a matter of time before he would be talking to my dad.

    Kyler was my everything.

    I was weeks from graduating from high school when I received the first notes, the first threat. At first, I thought it was some kid from school playing a prank, but then they murdered my parents and tried to run Kyler and me off the road. They threatened to hurt everyone I loved.

    A heartbreaking, gut-wrenching emotional read that was gripping as well. This is the love story of Kyler and Sydney. Not everyone gets a second chance but they do. It was sad and sweet at the same time. However, so many authors have touched onto the car accident side. It all seems so cliche.

    You Said You Loved Me is a heartbreakingly beautiful love story that held me captive from the first page until the last. Sydney and Kyler's journey of love took some emotional twists and turns as well as some suspenseful and dangerous ones. The writing is well done, the characters are believable and their love story was sweet, sad and beautiful all at the same time. I look forward to reading more books by this author in the future. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

    There are things in life that make us question who we are and what we do. For Sydney, this is true in so many ways. Her life has changed in the blink of an eye for reasons unknown to her. To make matters worse, she's lost that which has meant the most to her.

    When we lose someone close to us, it's hard to know whether we'll bounce back from the pain. I love the fact that SM makes Sydney's pain so real. She experiences it in such a way that you feel for her at every turn. It's not easy having to deal with grief while having to fend for her life. Nevertheless, she makes do with the circumstances that surrounds her.

    I think anyone can relate to the story SM has created. Yes, it's full of difficult topics, but they're those one must sometimes speak of. I think SM has given Sydney and Kyler a lovely ending to what's been a story full of numerous twists and turns. I enjoyed every minute of it.

    I was excited to start reading this book. Mystery and second chance romance. Unfortunately there was so much wrong with the story. It really needs editing. At the beginning your hearing about this wedding but you have no idea who anyone is or their connection. At the end you get a description of all these characters, some who were only mentioned, they weren't even in the storyline. Why do I need a description after the book is done?
    The clues from her dad, having her running after clues was ridiculous and seemed like just filler. And talk about over the top, a 22 year old young man being appointed Chief of Police? An 18 yr old high school graduate recruited by some unknown organization to protect another 18 yr old girl. This was just not even close to being realistic!
