- Reviewed in the United States on January 4, 2023Dakota by Kerry Kennedy. Dakota is a supermodel who has a big secret and decides to take a break from everyone and everything for a while. The problem is is that she didn't tell anyone where she was going or that she was going. So when fiance Simon and Dakota's sister Sophia go in search for her, that's when everything comes tumbling down, not only for Dakota, but for everyone else as well. Will everyone survive what's coming for them?
This book was so hard to put down. It was full of hardships and will get your emotions all over the place, not just for one character, but for all of them. I highly recommend this book. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ All the way.

- Reviewed in the United States on December 11, 2023Kerry Kennedy’s drama thriller was definitely worth the read. It’s a family drama wrapped into a thriller. The family members all have a dark undertow in their lives and sometimes, that creates drama. It’s when the drama turns tragic and maybe deadly that all the social play and drama play out. The characters were so well developed and their actions so … well… real that it added an extra measure to the enjoyment. I could easily see Dakota as a Lifetime miniseries. Five starts for both Kerry Kennedy and for Dakota. Cheers for the Dakota character. I highly recommend Dakota.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 15, 2022A fantastic book. I could not stop turning the pages. The characters are well developed. The author made me hate them, love them, and feel their pain. I thought I knew what was coming at the end, but I was wrong. A great ending with a shocking twist. Great job Kerry Kennedy. Highly recommend this book. Nora Wolfenbarger author of The Promise and The Defiant.

5.0 out of 5 stars Oh what a tangled web we weave
Dakota is missing and her mum, Tia, and her sister, Sophia, don’t know where she is. Simon and Dakoka were engaged and he wants to see her. So, the journey begins with Simon and Sophia joining forces to find her. The two were going to meet and something untoward happens to Sophia. Kennedy’s debut novel is a definite page-turner filled with suspense that kept me interested with many questions unanswered, like what would happen to Sophia and why Dakota didn’t want Simon? Kennedy did well tidying up all the story's loose ends to make it come full circle. I can see it being made into a movie. If you like thrillers you’ll love this novel.
