- Reviewed in the United States on July 31, 2024I've read all the books, in the series including this one and was not disappointed.. Each book starts off fast and keeps that momentum to the end. Ir truly is a pleasure to read. I would recommend highly.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 5, 2015Another good but not great Ryan Mitchell thriller! It was still well worth the read. I have read all 5 in the series but, this one in my humble opinion was not as GOOD as the first four in the series. Not near as much action as the first 4 either. As I said earlier, it WAS still worth the read and I will anxiously await number 6 in the series!
- Reviewed in the United States on June 1, 2015The latest installment in the Ryan Mitchell series is a great read. With a war brewing in the Aegean, Mitchell's team must swing into action to find a secret hidden for decades to help prevent the conflict from going deadly. If you like these books, this one will not let you down.

4.0 out of 5 stars Ryan and Nat do it again
Another mystery from world war II is solved with the usual breathtaking, non-stop action of a Ryan Mitchell tale.
I do wish though that someone would teach the book editors how to use grammar check before sending off the book.

4.0 out of 5 stars Rapid Page Turner!
With a continuous series of thrilling books featuring Ryan Mitchell and team, Richard Turner has penned a good set of page-turners, and this book is no exception.
Set amongst the political scenarios affecting Greece, and behind the scene power-grabbers, Mitchell and team cope up and try to neutralize the deadly actions set in motion, before the actual harm is caused.
Every bit as thrilling as the previous works, and set in reminiscence of Clive Cussler and his early Dirk Pitt novels, this is a must read for action and casual readers alike!

5.0 out of 5 stars Another winner!
I discovered Richard Turner by reading the first in the Ryan Mitchell series; 'Goliath', and I have never looked back. I love thrillers, especially ones with characters that you can follow throughout a whole series of books. I feel that I've come to know Ryan Mitchell, and find myself eagerly awaiting the publication of his latest adventure. 'Barracuda' does not disappoint. As always the action keeps on coming, and the book is packed full of suspense and intrigue; just how a good thriller should be!
Richard Turner writes confidently and with a clean, crisp writing style that is easy to follow. The story is consistently entertaining and engaging, and in my opinion puts Richard Turner high on the list of 'must read' authors if thrillers are your favourite genre. Definitely another winner from this ambitious and highly talented writer.

4.0 out of 5 stars Formulaic Poetry
You know Mitchell is going to save the day. But, that takes nothing away from my enjoyment of these books. You want the team to stick together, fight for each other, go through torture for each other and still spit out pithy remarks. They are feel good stories, but with serious content, good vocabulary and a hefty helping of sarcasm. Love the deer references. Keep 'em coming, please.
