    It's no secret that I might be obsessed with this world.

    No spoilers, so don't you worry.

    I have followed this world from nearly the beginning and I have been incredibly lucky to not only be an ARC reader, but to have watched this world truly come to life.

    Readers are swept away from the first page. If anyone has read A Beloved Sin, then you know the juicy and insane cliffhanger from that book. If you were like me, you were knocking on the author's door asking when I might get a glimpse into the final installment, The Fallen.

    And here it is!

    This book does not disappoint. It is full of so many twists and turns, so many elements, and SO MUCH steam. Did I mention it is an ending fit for royalty? Seriously, I mean it. It's the kind of ending that makes you smirk, wag your finger, and know darn well what the author has in store. This world isn't done, it's only beginning, and Danielle makes sure everyone knows that.

    I seriously cannot wait for the next installment of this world. Danielle is a master weaver of love and relationships and it shows extraordinarily well. She knows how to reel a reader in and make them beg for it-- did I mention I actually FELT for the villain, Eurynomos? Well, maybe that's me... But he can have me.

    Do yourself a favor and read this series. This is the last of the series, so make sure to pick up Age Old Enemies AND A Beloved Sin if you want to get involved in this world. The prologue is The Prophecy.

    Leila, the female lead, met a horrible and shocking death in the last book. I wanted to know what would happen in the next book. Will grieves the loss of his mate and will do anything to avenge her murder. He goes up against Eurynomos with everything he has in his arsenal. I love how Will will risk everything out of love, even his own life. And I love his eyes on the book cover!

    Bianca finally breaks Eurynomos’ hold over her and can learn how to wield her powers. I’m glad to see Bianca take a bigger role in the book.

    The world continues to grow as we get introduced to new cities and settings. I recommend this book if you enjoy vampires, werewolves, and even elves fighting together against a demon.

    It's still too many POVs for my taste, but this was better than book 2. Love Blake's story and the dragons (no, they don't have POVs of their own. It would be great if they had. 😆 Yes, I'm contradicting myself here with the POV issues haha)

    The twist on Will's story was something I never expected. I both like and feel sad about his fate. I was happy for him, too. Ah, what a complicated feeling. Also, I wish I was at least informed of where Jane went. The poor girl.

    Anyway, overall this was a beautiful story. A beautiful ending for the trilogy.

    Where to begin ? So much love, misery and anger take place in different forms throughout this book.

    After the cliffhanger in A Beloved Sin , we find ourselves picking up a moment later in The Fallen.

    Will, being consumed with the lose of Leila, goes in search of Eurynomos to kill him for the lose of his mate Leila.
    Since Leila’s sacrifice, Will’s sister Bianca’s curse bond to Eurynomos has been severed. Allowing her to focus on the Moon Goddess’s powers that dwell within her. If she can master the power of the Moon Goddess she’ll become a formidable opponent against Euryonmos and will be able to stop him once and for all.

    But in order to do so, Bianca must travel to a nearby city to see the only high mage that may be able to help her hone this power.

    This book, as with the last two books kept the story moving quick and keeps you wanting to know what happens next! I became very invested in all the characters throughout this series and loved the development of these characters as the story progresses. There is a lot of emotion presented as I read on and felt like I was listening to a close friend tell me about things that are happening in their life.

    If you’re a fan of fantasy that has vampires, werewolves, elves, orcs, dragons or demons and love good story telling, go read this series!

    Make sure to read through the Epilogue and the word from the author. If you feel like I did at the end of Fallen, needing more. This will give you a glimpse into what the future holds.

    This was an amazing read! The pain of losing a loved one, the temptation of power, and lots and lots of magical creatures makes for an epic story! I enjoyed reading all the fights between the enemies and learning more about the world this series is set in. It's full of magical creatures and has added on to the world already created by the previous books.

    The anguish of loss and betrayal, paired with the will to fight, was done really well. The romance was also amazing!!

    This story was amazing. The ending was wild. It was hard to accept in some parts but also made sense. I loved the way this one closed out. This was one of the best shifter romance series I've ever read and I'm forever a fan! I love this author and the others that she has easter eggs hinting at in her stories and these were just an absolute joy to read!

    Danielle Paquette-Harvey delivers another tension filled installment in the Longing Mates series!

    My heart broke over and over for Will and the decisions he made, only to be built back up by the swoony romance between Blake and Eshenesra.

    With a diverse cast and multiple points of view, there is never a dull moment in this story. One of my favorite excerpts is: “I love you so much.” Steven whispered in my ear. “You’re the best thing that ever happened to me. If forever exists, let if be with you.”
    And one of my favorite elements is the pocket cuckoo clock!

    I’m looking forward to Danielle Paquette-Harvey’s next book!
