Hi, I live in rural Wiltshire, not far from Stonehenge.

During the pandemic I reworked an earlier version of Doomsday for the Disco Goblin and then published it along with two further books in the Underkingdom series.

As well as writing, I also enjoy knitting and knitting design. I have recently uploaded a free Disco Goblin pattern on the Ravelry website to go with book one. Further fun free patterns are planned.

I loved the first book in this series, "Doomsday for the Disco Goblin" and I was looking forward to reading the "Plopbottle Paradox".

This story features Cassandra and Myron, two cousins who couldn't be more different and who still, or perhaps because of it, form a great team. Myron's quirky family and their large pet had a lot of character, and I was happy to see some characters from book 1 make a reappearance in book 2.
I enjoyed Corporal Doomsday's side story as well, and there were several laugh-out-loud moments. A good combination of humor and suspense.
All in all, it was a great read!

Rowanvale Books provided me with a free copy of this book. My review is voluntary and is entirely my honest opinion. It isn't biased in any way.
