    The wait is finally over on the next instalment in the Agents of HIS series and the author doesn’t disappoint. Cowboy, the commitment phob and explosives expert on the team receives startling news about happenings on his family ranch and decides he needs to go and straighten out the mess. He also decides to invite his handywoman, Elizabeth to him Lizzybeth, to make the trip to help out with the fixing up on the ranch. He has it bad for Lizzybeth until she shows up with a surprise, which may be the end for the two of them, even before they begin. And when strange happenings start to occur, he calls upon his team for back up to flush out the sabotager and hopefully get the ranch back up.
    A good read with a touch of steam, some suspense, surprises, heartbreaking revelations and great characters. I liked these two, a bit of drama but not over the top and I LOVED how independent and strong Lizzybeth was. The story flowed nicely and I really liked the initiative Lizzybeth took after all was said and done. I would have liked an epilogue and a bit more on what happened to the culprit.

I really enjoyed this book, from Cowboy rushing home for his remodeling (read the book there is a twist) to LizzyBeth dropping her bombshell in person at a crucial point and time. (read the book). When Cowboy goes home to try and save his families heritage there is drama, family and someone sabotaging everything they work for. Who do you call when you need help? The rest of the HIS team of course, or those not out on a mission. Cowboy and LizzyBeth have secrets, we all know keeping secrets can hurt. This book is worth the price. Thank you for the arc, I freely volunteer my thoughts and opinions.

    Ok I'm now invested in this series. lol Easy to read because it's so well-written and keeps you on the edge of your seat, with great characters. Cowboy is one that we met previously who is the king of avoiding commitment... and aren't they the best when they "fall" lol Action and suspense continue in this installment.

    From Active HIS security to Cowboy, his nickname and literally his former life until he became an Airforce Pararescue before joining HIS, Cowboy goes home to his family’s ranch after his ex wife now sister-in-law after his wife and brother had an affair behind his back. The
    loss of his daughter, divorce left him no reason to stay. After hiring Elizabeth to remodel his home in Boston, he is summoned by his family because they need his help to keep the ranch. Finding it in disrepair he brings Elizabeth who brings her 3 year old son to do the repairs. As more mischief and damage is done and then HIS team member Doc is shot basically breaks out. This is a little less intense than earlier titles it is a story of mystery, love, betray leaves you wondering what’s next!
