Aleatha Romig is a New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today bestselling author who lives in Indiana, USA. She grew up in Mishawaka, graduated from Indiana University, and is currently living south of Indianapolis as well as part of the year in Bradenton, Florida, USA. Before she became a full-time author, she worked days as a dental hygienist and spent her nights writing. WOW, JUST WOW! Aleatha Romig really knows how to weave a story with so many moving parts that you need to follow closely because if you don't you're going to be in for one heck of a surprise just like Julia was at the end of this book. This series must be read in the order it has been released because each of the books end in a cliffhanger, and GOLD LUST picks up right where GREEN ENVY left off and we are left with another crazy cliffy. I cannot wait for BLACK KNIGHT to release, thankfully we don't have to wait to long for it. Van and Julia's story will have you hooked from the very first page of the very first book and will have you craving more. From Julia's family hiding secrets from her while others are hiding things from them, to Donovan's crazy past coming back to haunt him. It all makes for one heck of a read, each and every time! I would recommend this book/series to anyone that enjoys Steamy Romantic Suspense Reads, Age Gap Romances, or Romances that will have you hooked from the very first page. Happy Reading!!!

    All these secrets…it wouldn’t be so much of an issue if he would just tell Julia everything. But then again, Julia should be asking more questions. Even after Phillip played as if he was Van, Van still didn’t see the need to tell Julia everything.

    And Julia was just a whiner in this book. “I just want to be in the snow globe” “I just want it over..but don’t leave me.” She really showed her age and immaturity. But when it was all said and done..they are finally going to get married…until….

    This story has been really good so far. I’m looking forward to the ending.

    The surprises never stop coming in this third book in the series. The back history continues and it doesn't paint a nice photo of Van. He's tried to ruin his brother and it comes back to bite him in the arse! Poor Julia... The hits still continue and getting information regarding the business is not easy. It's beginning to look as though her own parents are involved in dirty things. It's still extremely a well written and interesting story that I can't stop reading!

    Another amazing read by Aleatha Romig. This was the 3rd book and I have to say I couldn’t put it down, along with the other two books.
    Things are getting really strange with Julia’s family. Her mother is so snobbish and more worried about her reputation then her own daughters wishes. Not to mention she doesn’t like confess all she knows. Mother and daughter have a tense relationship.
    Van is doing everything he can to make Julia happy. But his past is coming back to bite him in the butt. Things are going on with the Will, the Wade company is on life support, and another unaccepted guest who’s up.
    The books are great, And I love Aleatha’s series, it’s definitely another one to hold onto. Be prepared to fully engross yourself in these books! 5 stars ❤️

    I've enjoyed this series up till this book. The pacing felt bogged down and I skipped paragraphs. I think this series could have been completed in three books. I'm not sure what is left in the story for another book. The main female character, Julia, doesn't grow. She comes across passive and less assertive than when the series started. For all the supposed resources at their finger tips, they can't seem to identify the protagonist and the conspiracy. That may be the author's intention to justify a fourth book but it starts to get irritating when nothing is resolved until the cliff hanger ending in this book.

    Did I get "Aleathea'd"? You're damn right I did.
    I knew what was coming but when you don't have the last book to really finish, it nerve racking!

    This story has even more twists and turns that pop up out of nowhere, it will leave you on the edge of your seat. Waiting for a month to read the finale is going to be very hard.

    As with any of Aleatha's books, prepared to be sucked in. From the beginning, you are picking up right after Green Envy. The main characters are complex, Van is certainly a force to be wrecked with but at times Julia seems slightly too green. Perhaps it is the age gap thing, but for someone who had the pearls of any oyster she wanted, Julia seems very meek and child-like. She is in her 20s but at times younger. All in all, still an amazing read and I look very forward to the last book.

    Wow!! How does Aleatha do it, ? Yet another cliffhanger. More twists , turns and hairpin experiences than roller coaster. The book starts where the second cliffhanger finished. Will Julia recognise Van? Who is Philip, and what is Madison. Talk about the sins of the past. Van was one determined guy with such a dark soul. Julia his light, but for how long? All the characters are so realistic. Julia’s parents are to be believed and Skylar even becomes a knight. I defy anyone to be able to foretell this third book until your actually reading it. There are so many almost red herrings and and possibilities that the reader gets truly absorbed and time literally runs away. Once I picked it up I could not put it down. Some characters are equally overbearing, some compassionate , and totally loathsome but all are equally described that you almost smell there cologne. The romantic scenes are beautiful, and love between Van and Julia is sizzling but also very endearing. The forth book is a while away but as ever this storyline is tattooed on my imagination. Totally excellent and unmissable.
