- Reviewed in the United States on April 10, 2017Sting In The Tail"n is an exciting story, filled with excitement, emotions, mystery and intrigue. Mike Willett is a racehorse trainer with a big challenge; how can he get his brilliant, but puzzling, cantankerous horse, Rocket to win races? This gorgeous horse definitely has a mind of his own and he's extremely independent to say the least. Mike is a gifted trainer with a fierce temper, that gets him in more than one serious situation.
You'll love this story and be eager to see what happens next. This is a memorable story, sure to keep you captivated. It's definitely not the average predictable story.

- Reviewed in the United States on January 21, 2017Excellent read. Takes you right there to the racecourse, the stables and into the lives of the characters. It made me laugh, cry (nearly), involving as you find yourself "feeling" the emotion of the characters. I recommend it and look forward to what I presume is book two (Sting In The Tail being book one?) Will keep an eager eye out!

3.0 out of 5 stars Quick end
Story was going along well and building up to an intriguing ending of the two principle families when it just kind of petered out with no definitive ending. It was as if the writer had thought he should now finish his book. Bit of a shame as the story had been intriguing until the last couple of chapters. Maybe writer thinking of a sequel?
