Ann Stang is the author of 11 Christian cozy mysteries and romcoms. Her motto is there’s a mystery around every corner – or there ought to be. She starts with a whodunnit, adds a little romance, sprinkles in clean humor, (and usually a dog), and voila! A novel that everyone can enjoy. Her three children's books add to the fun.

Married with five children and fifteen grandchildren, she hangs out with her dachshunds most of the day. They’re willing to listen if she reads snatches of her current work in progress and only give each other looks when she won’t notice.

Living in the Ozarks, she divides her time between her family and her hobbies, including her love of 40s and 50s noir and her severe coffee addiction. Also on SWG Goodreads.

When Autumn springs her Grandmother Mae from a neglectful nursing home it begins two of most amazing weeks in both of their lives. Mae is recovering from a stroke and a broken arm as well as being overly medicated at the facility. A stray dog, an eventful road trip with unplanned stops and incidents make this an amazing book. Do yourself a favor and read 25 Miles to Empty.

I enjoyed the relationship between her grandmother and her. The parents were strange to say the least. Many quirks and turn-abouts in it. Very enjoyable read.

Such a fun story. One of those laugh-out-loud books that are hard to put down. Looking forward to reading more by this author. 🙂

I thought it was a light, clean story. It seemed very Nancy Drew-ish, like a 2020s version of Nancy, including a cool car. The main character is a 17 yr old high schooler. She springs her grandma from a nursing facility and they go on a road trip. The story seemed more young adult, perhaps geared toward tween and teen readers. There is religious subtext in the story, in case that is or is not your thing.
