A harsh, scar-faced, rancher, An impulsive, whimsical teacher go together like dandelions and daydreams. Well, she thinks so anyway…
Carrie Ann Dixon’s impulsive nature has cost her a teaching position. Destitute, she agrees to seek the help of a matchmaker. She believes there’s a happily ever after within reach for everyone, and she’ll work hard to make her dream come true. Casting her past failures aside, she’s thrilled with the idea of moving west and requests a match with someone who embraces adventure and will be enthusiastic about building a romantic relationship.
Gabe Russell, former solider and regimented rancher, isn’t looking for love. Instead, he needs a cook, housekeeper, and babysitter for his four younger siblings. What a wonderful story as we find matchmaker Miss Agatha at it again! More like mismatch
maker which makes the journey even better..

Carrie Ann has left herself with few options and she decides to use a matchmaker to find her happy ever after. She feels moving out west will find her adventure and hopefully love.

Gabe, after having been a soldier and rancher, now with his siblings to take care of, just needs
someone to take care of the housekeeping, siblings and do it all on his schedule.

Oh yes, opposite are going to have to attract if these two will make it!! This author always knows just how to draw us into her stories and make us smile!! Not to be missed, you will love it!

I loved this book so much! It's a sweet heartwarming book that also made me laugh out loud at times. Even though Gabe and Carrie seem so different, they work through their differences and develop a loving relationship. Great characters and a great storyline that was well written and entertaining. I absolutely couldn't put it down, until I had finished reading the whole book. A book that I highly recommend and I think you will love it as much as I did.

It tells about how unexplained feelings and misunderstandings can cause problems when all you need to do is sit down and discuss your thoughts and feelings. There are distractions in form of children as well.

The mismatch between Carrie and Gabe was quite funny. They both tried to hold up a list of items their matchmaker was to pay close attention to make the best match but the differences add to many fights. The story was incredibly funny with all the mixed up fights and throw in younger siblings as pirates. The truly sweetest thing is that both MC wanted the best for each other and continued to pray for God's help. I was sad when the story ended it was so entertaining I wished for it to continue.

Of all the books in this new matchmaker series, Kimberly Grist has written my favorite. Witty, thoughtful, and preciously tender is the growing love between these two characters. A pleasure to have read, A Match for Gabe will go on my very short re-read list.

Their first meeting was ridiculous! At least their relationship only gets better from there! I was sad that it ended! I would, love to read more about them in another book in this series!
