Thank you for considering my debut book. It took two years to get here, and my greatest wish is for it to be read and enjoyed. I love to write, and I already know Rainbow Roses will have a sequel down the road. I love to garden and hope this summer to travel to new parks and beaches to inspire me. My wife and I are proud parents of two cats and our puppy Jellybean who rules the roost. I read all reviews and I'm looking forwards to yours.

SAPPHIC BOOK BINGO: newbie author, meet-cute, butch character, favorite trope; UNICORN: period, more than 2 POVs (possibly other categories)

This was a well-written story about falling in love and a bit of family loss. All of the characters were interesting and likeable. The primary romance was a "love at first sight" relationship, and the secondary one was a friends to lovers situation. There were a couple of surprising twists near the end of the book. It was very well edited, but I caught a couple of inconsistencies that might not be obvious to the average reader.

I'm not a love at first sight kind of person, which might be due to my being middle-aged, but if that's your favorite trope, you'll really enjoy this book.

I very much enjoyed this book with a bar and a cast of characters set in South Bend IN near my hometown. I would love to sit in this bar and get to know any of these characters and share a drink.

This book got my attention from the first paragraph, and kept it until I finished it at 3 am. The characters are interesting, and likable enough that I'd enjoy hanging out with them. Most of all, this wonderful book reminded me of many years ago when I was young and in search of love. I am looking forward to more books and more stories.

I enjoyed reading the book. Really liked both Jess and Lenora. This was instant love to the max. I don't know if I believe in it but this is fiction so anything is possible. It's the author's choice and it was presented well. There was so much drama and angst in these pages but it did keep my interest. There is a little bit of a lot of things: love, friendship, families, death, health issues and more. These two women had a roller coaster romance of extreme highs and lows. The main issue I had with the book was the non use of contractions. It made the read a little awkward at times. Other than that, it was fine. Yes, the author writes somewhat differently than what I'm used to but it was still a very good first effort. I would definitely read more by the author.

A chance meeting was all it took. Jess and Lenora are a great together and it feels like they've know each other forever. They have strong relationships with friends and family. I really enjoyed reading their story as well as Shooter and Sam. I laughed, cried and got a bit flush lol while reading this book. I look forward to more from Melinda Sequeira.

This book was chock full of characters that cared and loved fiercely.
Low angst, which I love, likeable people who just steared their way through lots of situations with love and respect for each other.
A good first book, I look forward to her next.
