5.0 out of 5 stars Really helped me.
This book is very easy to read and informative. It covers all the bases regarding professional email writing and more. The book gives step by step instructions of how to write a professional email. It reminded me to think before I write, organize my writing logically and use paragraphs and transitional phrases. The book talks about how to write to specific audiences and how to write emails that have a positive tone or voice. I especially liked the chapters on emotional and cultural intelligence as they help specify how to write to people with different personality types and diverse cultural backgrounds. The part about writing emails to low vs. high context culture readers was very helpful. I also liked the last chapter which helps you manage your inbox using rules and folders. I am getting down to inbox zero because of the book. I would recommend this book to anyone who writes emails. As the book states, most people think they are good at writing emails but studies show that most people lack email writing skills, send mixed or confusing messages and write emails that leave a bad feeling.
