She wanted to be left alone.
He refused to walk away.
Neither expected to fall—again
.

When Jasmine Sanders wakes up in a hospital, the only thing she knows is this: she has to get out. Haunted by a past she can’t outrun, she flees Australia for the wild, breathtaking isolation of New Zealand. Peace. Solitude. A chance to start over.

But then there she met him.

Jake Thomas isn’t just a reclusive Hollywood heartthrob—he’s the one man who sees straight through her. He has walls of his own, but something in Jasmine calls to him. And no matter how many times she pushes him away, he keeps coming back.

The chemistry between them? Instant. The pull? Irresistible. But Jasmine’s secrets still stalk her, and Jake’s past isn’t as buried as he claims.

Can two broken hearts find healing in each other—or will the weight of what they’re running from tear them apart?

For readers who crave emotional tension, smoldering chemistry, and heart-healing second chances in stunning small-town escapes.

New Zealand is on my bucket list and being able to explore the countryside through these wonderful twists, turns, and sweet scenes with these characters was a complete delight!

This is a journey about grief, love, and friendship while exploring the New Zealand countryside. There are twists, turns, and tender moments along the way, and the incorporation of the title into the plot was endearing - it was my favorite part!

5.0 out of 5 stars An apt title for a wonderful book

I loved the relationships between all the characters. The way the author weaves the storyline was different to all other romances I’ve read. While I was expecting one thing to happen, the story went another way which I loved. It kept me reading until The Last Page

I absolutely love this book. Immersing myself completely for the unforgettable experience with the characters, the story and the love. Great ending with a bit of a twist, I'll say the Last Page is aptly named. Deserves more attention.
