- Reviewed in the United States on April 19, 2025very detailed book of the Bond families of Mississippi. I am line of Col. John Bond (1749-1837), my 6th great grandfather. The Bond family can be complex since there are several Bond families. I haven't gone through the whole book, which I know will take me some time, but I'm hoping to find additional information that will help me in my ancestry tree.
What I have looked through, I don't see the line that I'm through. Col. John Bond had a son name William Bond (1783-1862), who married Georgia Batson (1784-1850). I see William's brother, John, and info on the Batson family but not on Georgia. The layout seems a bit complicated but I'm sure I'll figure out the author's outline and maybe find my 5th great grandparents. Even if I don't, it's still going to be a great tool in helping me with my ancestry tree.
