    This was such an enjoyable story. I loved that it's a standalone story, but there's all the characters from Sunset Security and also Chance and Aubrey with even mention of Esmeralda, the fainting goat. Remembering all of these characters made me feel like I was among friends. But I really enjoyed Ferris, Toni, her dad and even Gigi. This is Ferris and Toni's story. It's heartbreaking, realistic, funny, swoon worthy. And I appreciated this author bringing awareness to Dementia. As the saying goes, "if you've seen one Dementia patient, you've only seen one Dementia patient." Every situation with Dementia is different. But importantly, and this author wrote it beautifully, it's important to treat the individual with respect and remember they are still a human being, trapped in a decaying mind. They didn't wish this on themselves or their families. (YES, I speak from experience.) Loved the overall storyline. It was well worth my Sunday afternoon and evening to read it.

    Cocky Veteran: A Hero Club Novel was my first read by Tiffani Lynn. I was pleasantly pleased with this book and look forward to reading more of Ms. Lynn's work. I love a good series and this book definitely had connections to other characters.

    This book revolves around the MMC, Ferris, and his search for the next step in life. There is a wonderfully written flashback to Ferris' family situation. Wow, it was an amazing addition to the story! He is the polar opposite of his brother and wants to break out of the shadow he feels he is in. In walks Toni, the FMC, she is a sweet girl trying her hardest to navigate life with an ill parent. How many of us can relate to that? The story is well-developed, well-written, and very, very enjoyable. Definitely has fun spicy scenes that only add to the book! @theoriginialmrs.

    Tiffani Lynn is a new author to me and I enjoyed this story. Faris and Tori were a great combination and together made me keep turning the pages. It was an easy read which I liked. I'll be recommending this book to anyone who asks.

    This story is a great addition to the Cocky Hero Club world. Farris is an Air Force veteran who has returned home to figure out what to do with his life. Toni is a struggling waitress who is caring for her dad who has dementia, and to clean up the mess her ex left her with. These two both have baggage, and when Toni is in danger, Farris will do whatever he must to protect and keep her safe. This is a well written story with family, friendships, drama, twists, emotions, chemistry, angst, action, suspense, danger, intrigue, and love, which leads to a thrilling and addictive page turner.
    I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

    Farris was a sweetheart. I loved him. I didn't think he was cocky at all, tbh. He knew he had skills, but I liked that he wasn't always sure of himself...at least when it came to being in his brother's shadow. I loved that he was a guy who was quick to help others, even as a detriment to himself. I loved that he came to Toni's rescue. She definitely needed someone in her corner after all she had gone though. This was a good mix of sweet and spicy, and I loved the cast of characters too.

    Loved this story about Ferris and Toni. Both have a bad past and their attraction is combustible.
    Good big of excitement and suspense love Chance and Aubrey with a mention of Esmeralda.
