    So this is the first time I am reading a book by this author. This will not be my last. This book was a quick read to see if I liked he style not only did I like it I loved it.     This book was written like an old school erotica; and as an erotica, I think it merits 4 stars. There were only six chapters plus an epilogue and it was under 60 pages. The plot line and story elements felt a little contrived because the focus was definitely on the MCs shagging and not the story of how they got there.
    The smut was totally wild. 🔥🔥😈 This was a daddy dom story with no holds barred. It was the kind of story that’s fun to read but would be absolutely inexcusable in your actual life. I normally don’t like the taboo trope but this one was on the milder side and didn’t overdo the family relationship. It was more like they were family friends than step siblings.
    The grammar and mechanics of the story were great. It was easy to read and there weren’t any memorable typos. So in my opinion, if your looking for a short and easy read to help you scratch an itch then this is a good option.

    This isn't quite 4⭐, but I'm rounding up. I liked it, but it suffers a little in comparison to Verity Arden's previous book, In His Debt. A big reason I loved IHD was it's simplicity and focus. It's basically one long 🥵 scene, which really gave that scene time to develop.

    Make Her Purr is only a few pages longer, but squeezes in too many scenes and side characters. This made the plot and MCs feel a bit choppy and disjointed. It's really only a minor issue here, but I still think an extra ~20 pages would have fleshed it out nicely.

    (Am I just intellectualizing my real complaint - that I had to wait a few more pages for the *bow chicka wow wow*? Maybe. Shut up. 😳)
