    I loved Gibson he was truly an amazing character...I liked Chloe also but Gibson was my fave. Theirs was a rock star love story. I liked how Gibson was patient and kind to Chloe. There were parts that made my heart hurt for Chloe and then at times I hurt for Gibson. The angst was there but not over the top. I would love to read about Toby and Jill. That one would be a heart breaker.

    Two flawed people try to make it work. I was thoroughly engaged as this couple fought against the odds to make their relationship work.

    I'm really bummed that book three isn't available through KU when all the others are. I guess I'll have to skip finding out whatever big thing that changed Gibson's life and move straight on to Piper's book.

    I read the first two books in this series. May contain mild spoilers. The beginning of this book grabbed my attention. I enjoyed the dual POV at times but that seemed to drag the books out. I felt like I was just rereading the same thing only with a few minor changes when the POV changed. If not for the repetition of scenes this would have been one book I feel. At times it really drug on and I felt myself skimming. Also, I will concur with other reviews about h never really addressing with H about things that he did. He would say "I'm a rock star so this is normal or my friends made me do it or it was the alcohol" and h seemed to be fine with what he did. This book also deals with domestic violence, mental health and self-esteem. I gave this 3 stars for the repetition of chapters, minimal character growth, big storylines being just ok when resolved, the editing and skimming of chapters. I was really pulling for this story with the positive reviews from a blog I follow. Unfortunately it just didn't hit the mark for me.

I felt every emotion under the sun reading this series. I went from not liking Gibson to understanding him and really rooting for them as a couple. If you haven't read the story, you should. You won't be disappointed. I can't wait to read more books from this gifted author.

    Enjoyed the story line, there seemed to be a lot of redundancy jumping from Chloe to Gibson. which I skipped over (not knowing what I missed in the thoughts of each character). I just got impatient with the double detail.

    There's nothing simple about Gibson Barclay. His irritation at not being seen as a person behind the rockstar persona has him becoming increasingly frustrated with those around him. An extraordinary chance encounter with Chloe, a girl he knew briefly five years ago, has him wishing for more than the rockstar lifestyle. However, their burgeoning relationship is anything but straightforward and misunderstandings abound.

    Desperately trying to overcome events from the past, Chloe's lack of self esteem, feelings of being manipulated and her suppositions as to Gibson's motives make for one rollercoaster ride of a story. Well written, this is an angsty, steamy, emotional read. It was great to get inside the heads of both these characters and to understand the reasons behind Chloe's mood swings, even if I did want to sit her down and give her a good talking to! She is a complicated and conflicted young woman, whose understandable fears, given her background, threaten to drive a wedge between them. I can't say I blamed her for some of her assumptions, given Gibson's lifestyle. Gibson's reaction to her behaviour also had me wagging a finger in his direction but without all the facts, he can't be expected to be more sympathetic. Excellent writing will definitely have you invested in this couple.

    Trusting Gibson

    This book picks up where we left Gibson and Chloe's story in book one and boy when Gibson makes his mind up about something he really puts his all into making things happen. What starts out as a need to protect, quickly turns into so much more. Having decided that he has to have Chloe permanently in his life, he goes all out to prove to her that his feelings are genuine and that she is the one for him.

    However, a dramatic event turns things on its head and we see a deeper, more mature side of Gibson as he attempts to be the man not just who Chloe wants but who she needs. He may be a rockstar but this story is about the man behind the music, his thoughts, his passion and his love for the woman fate brought back into his life.

    An amazing book full of heartache and pain, love and laughter.

    I can highly recommend this emotional, sexy box set.

    I'm so excited to share with you all.
    Let me introduce you to Gibson Barclay the new love of my life (only in my dreams).

    Gibson is the ultimate rock star, he certainly holds the power or does he? Woman literally throw themselves at him, along with their Knickers hehe!! I know right? well in all honesty he can have my whole knicker drawer, the man is a God.
    He knows a woman's body inside and out, he ozzes charm and sex appeal, he has seduction down to a fine art, but there's more to him than that, he is an amazing musician, thousands and thousands of people want to see him, men only wish they had half of what he has, every woman wants him if only even for a brief moment, Gibson has never even heard the word no, he gets what he wants cause it is pretty much there on a plate for him.

    Along comes Chloe Jenner, sweet Chloe, bless her, seen too much, heard to much but yet not lived enough. She has a brief encounter which leaves her stunned, no kissing, no touching just staring into the eyes of a man she has confessed to her friends she has fantasised about.
    Chloe believes that Gibson doesn't even know she exists, living in two completely different worlds Chloe often thinks of him.

    This story has brought out so many emotions, I have felt moments of sadness followed by happiness, I have laughed out loud, I have even felt worry, yes it is one hell of a story, I think cause it is so close to real life, real emotions, there's no alpha billionaire in this story but there is Gibson God Barclay, events that take place in this story could happen to anyone, I think it is that what makes it all seem so real, that and the fact that KL Shandwick can tell an epic story.

    I wish I could share so much more with you al,l but I hating giving out spoilers. Let me just say this book is now in my top five, I definitely recommend this read as it has had me gripped. Thank you for sharing Gibson with me KL, I can't wait to continue following this story.

    Book 2

    Trust is one of the hardest things to do, especially when you have put your trust in someone whole heartedly and they have let you down in the worst way.
    It's something that Chloe struggles with. What makes her doubtful is Gibson's legacy. He's a Rockstar and can have women whenever he wants, but what he wants now more than anything is Chloe.

    Life is not all Rock and Roll, after show parties and woman whenever he wants. Gibson has feelings, he's a man first, who then became a Rockstar. People only see, Gibson the Rockstar not the real Gibson.

    To me, I was not only reading about a Rockstar and all his flaws or about Chloe and her past, but a compelling story of love and trust. How life can change dramatically. How people cope with trauma, not just the person who has had a traumatic experience but all those around that it also affects.

    Life can be cruel sometimes but I also believe, everything happens for a reason. You can survive anything, overcome anything if you have the right people around you, who love and care for you no matter what.

    There is humour in this book that had me laughing out loud. It is also a sexy read, some very intense moments. I was drawn in to continue turning the pages. I would love to read more of Gibson & Chloe's story. I hope there will be a book three. I couldn't possibly sum up this book with one word because it was, brilliant, sexy, funny, compelling. I loved it.

KL Shandwick's consistently brilliant writing makes reading these books so easy that you get lost in the story within minutes. Difficult subject matter is covered and KL does so with complete respect and sensitivity. Overall a beautiful series.
