    I enjoyed reading this charming second chance love story by KL Shandwick. I devoured this quick and delightful book by KL who was a new author to me. Lennie regretting choices he made that made him loose the love of his life Kitty, makes the most of a chance to reunite him and Kitty. I love second chances and this book certainly delivered. I look forward to reading more from KL.

    I loved this quick second-chance romance from Author KL Shandwick and read it in one sitting during a hair appointment. Best ever way to get pampered - feed the mind; massage the head.

    In MY WAY BACK, the stupidity and impetuosity of youth cost both Lennie and Kitty their future together. I felt sad that decisions made on a whim cost them so much in the long run, and I believe a saying dating back to 1693 ‘marry in haste, repent at leisure’ definitely described the situation that young Kitty found herself in. It was also sad to reflect that if it weren’t for the misfortune of fate and the disappearance of an errant husband, a second run at an HEA would not have been on the cards for them.

    Despite the anger and bitterness that both carried, Ms Shandwick wrote succinctly of the love and attraction between them and she exposed the sad regrets that the last five years have held close to their hearts. I just wanted them to work, but life isn’t’ that simple and MY WAY BACK was a beautifully quick read that will fill any reading gap that you might find yourself with.

    It was a great read, and one that I absolutely recommend. 4.5 Stars ♥️🎵✮

    A short and sweet second chance romance. Lennie and Kitty were young loves and then circumstances drove them apart. Then some years later, fate brings these two together again when Kitty has a home disaster and Lennie comes to help her. I so enjoyed Lennie and Kitty’s story! A recommended read.

    Lennie and Kitty have hard feelings from a bad breakup a few years back. Finding herself in a bind of a plumbing disaster, Kitty finally opens up and they talk it out. I loved their story.

    I was excited to read this story. Lennie and Kitty were best friends. There was an incident that happened but Lennie never gave up on her. There were so many hurt feelings between these two. I wondered how this story would go. It was a bumpy ride. Will these two get their happily ever after, read to find out.

    If you are looking for a fab short read full of Kls usual great writing then this is the book for you.
    Lennie and Kitty met and were together when younger but that all changed when Lennie went on the road unexpectedly when his new band. When he arrives home and finds Kitty married to someone else he destroyed and never quite manages to move on.
    When Kitty finds herself struggling and in a time of need, Lennie cant help but get involved and help her out.
    These guys were just meant to be and would have loved them to get a full story at one point.

    What a sweet, heartwarming second chance at love novella, I really enjoyed reading it.

    It was clear from their chemistry that Lennie and Kitty had loved each other since they were teens but both made some horrible mistakes which caused their split. When a house disaster allows Lennie back into Kitty's life, we got all the angsty tension I love with this trope as they reconnected and learnt the truth, the heartbreaking reasons that caused their separation.

    Lennie was an absolute sweetheart, caring, supportive, patient and adoring. He wasn't about to lose Kitty again if he could help it, if they could both just forgive each other for the past hurt and move forward.

    I'd love more from this lovely couple if the author ever wanted to expand the novella, there's definitely some intriguing potential to!
