Aleatha Romig is a New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today bestselling author who lives in Indiana, USA. She grew up in Mishawaka, graduated from Indiana University, and is currently living south of Indianapolis as well as part of the year in Bradenton, Florida, USA. Before she became a full-time author, she worked days as a dental hygienist and spent her nights writing.     I'm not sure why I read this. I think the prequel came as a free book, and I enjoyed it, so I gave the rest a try. It's not my typical genre but I enjoyed the story, all the characters, and the development. I do however feel like it was a surface read - no depth or real substance. I didn't have trouble putting the book down and going back to it later. I'm giving it 4 stars because they're want anything wrong with the book, grammer and spelling weren't issues, the story line made sense etc, it just isn't my type of book.
