    This was a good love story. I liked that it wasn’t too angsty like most rockstar romance put out there. It was sweet, funny and very heartwarming. A beautiful romance! I loved the scavenger hunt!!

    Thoughts: This is a story about friends who grew up together. Levi spent a lot of time with Remi’s family. Wyatt—Remi’s older brother—was Levi’s best friend. Plus, Levi’s father was an alcoholic abuser so Wyatt’s home was his “safe” place. Levi and Remi have one beautiful night, then he leaves town for eight years. When he comes back, as a rock star, he knows he still has feelings for the girl he left behind, but how does she feel about him? And can he have a second chance with her? But to do so means changing his life.

    The characters and setting are both so real, I feel as if I know them, and as if I can go visit that beach sometime. The emotions are raw and out there. Told in multiple first person, the author is kind enough to let us know when we are with Remi or with Levi. Though I will admit to still getting a little confused at times, but that’s on me, not on the author. She did a very good job with the changes.

    For me, the book started off slow, but once I got into it, I loved it. Especially the end with… Nope. Not going to give that away. But I thought what the author did was amazing. That was the best part of the book for me. I mean, I knew what was going to happen (come on, it’s a romance!), but the way it happened was so beautiful.

    M.J. Schiller has a brand new rockstar romance series and I couldn’t be more excited! With characters that’ll melt your heart, a gorgeous beach town setting, angsty tension and a second chance at love, this book is truly unforgettable.

    The story opens the night before Levi and his bandmates leave to make their fortune in music. He discovers Remi is no longer a girl but a full-grown woman. They share a beautiful night together. Years later, Levi returns home a mega rockstar drummer and rekindles things with Remi. A lot has changed but some things never change. Talk about heart-stopping romance!

    The descriptive narration and setting sets the tone for this romance. Every emotion, every thought, every detail is carefully described, leaving the reader no choice but to become part of the story. The setting is a gorgeous beach community where everyone knows everyone and genuinely cares.

    The romance is a blend of some of my favorite tropes: second chance, small town, beachy, best friend’s sister, and rockstar. The romance is achingly beautiful, with a lot of push and pull between Levi and Remi. What’s left unsaid speaks volumes and adds plenty of tension. The emotions overflow from the page to the reader’s heart. I loved every moment while reading.

    If you’re a romance reader looking to dive into a new series, you’ll want to read this book. Your heart will beat in time with this contemporary romance. I strongly recommend this book!
