About the Author

Diane loved creative writing as a child. Then one very influential college professor put an end to everything--at least for many years. She re-discovered her love to tell stories in 2002 when she developed her first feature length screenplay. That led Diane to become active in the independent film industry and she wrote, directed and produced several short films winning numerous awards for her efforts. She has written many feature-length screenplays, including one she also co-produced called Atrophy that premiered at the Phoenix Film Festival and where she was the recipient of the 2012 Arizona Filmmaker of the Year Award. After spending most of her life living in Southern California and Phoenix, Arizona, she moved to Texas in 2013. At that time she created a blog (dianedresback.com), and started to capture her story ideas into novels.

Reminisce is a creative look at what would happen if you were able to summon the best memories of your life at will. Beneath the premise lies a question of how we can give our trust to health professionals of "medical/holistic" drugs who convince us they very knowledgeable. The bigger question: what's the cost? Every character in the novel pays in a different way.

It's a fun, casual read, yet it's thought provoking nature stays with you after you set the book down.

Makes you angry and sad in equal parts as nick struggles to come to terms with a marriage break up and a wife who won't let him see their child. In turn you want to hug him or boot his back side, but all is not as it seems. The twist is unexpected and heartbreaking. Cleverly and emphatically written .
