Aleatha Romig is a New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today bestselling author who lives in Indiana, USA. She grew up in Mishawaka, graduated from Indiana University, and is currently living south of Indianapolis as well as part of the year in Bradenton, Florida, USA. Before she became a full-time author, she worked days as a dental hygienist and spent her nights writing.     So much palace intrigue that its difficult to keep track of "who, what, when" along with the important " WHY ". The Prince meets the former Roman and eventually gets some answers along with more questions. The Princess finally becomes pregnant ( who is daddy is unknown bc of the artificial insemination procedure). The Queen isn't as clueless as she portrayed. And everyone is holding on to secrets. What I find most interesting is even in private Princess refers to her imposter husband as Roman instead of his real name.
    My only complaint is I wish we learned more about the journals that the previous Prince left behind. At times they seem forgotten, even though valuable information regarding the plots could be in print.

The plot continues to thicken as Oliver finds himself in the cross hairs of something that he doesn't have a full grasp of who all the players are and what is the end game. All he knows is that he is in love with his pseudo wife. He is determined to do the best he can to do right by the people and he has all intentions of building a life as the future King. However there are so many things he still does not know, who to trust and if can he get out of this alive. Lucille has every intention to stand by her husband. Her and Oliver are in this for the long haul. They know they have to be careful. Oliver has to keep up the pretense of who the old Prince was but move into the future. Oliver/Roman now has something else in his life that has given an additional push to make sure there is a positive resolution to his life as the future King. Now he and Lucille have to get to the bottom of what's going on. Still so many things going on in the kingdom. Inorder for a positive outcome him and Lucille need to stay strong. By the end another cliffhanger has Oliver/Roman trying to figure out where does all this leave him and his future with Lucille, the baby and his place in the kingdom. This author has done it again. Loved it. Can't wait for the final conclusion to their story. Another 5 star read for me.

    Oh my goodness - the secrets and lies that are in this castle are mind blowing!! So much so that you don’t know what’s real and what isn’t real. Or who you can trust or who you can’t trust! Finding out that the Queen is not as out of it as she lets on is an interesting twist to this whole plot line. I’m really hoping for Roman and Lucille to work things out and stay together. But, I’m starting to think at this point for that to happen, the King has to die. I wonder what’s gonna happen in the next book, it’s the final book so I will find out soon enough. Things are just getting interesting and now there’s yet another new plot twist to deal with at the end of the book! Thankfully, I have book four ready to read! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    This is the third book in the Royal Reflections series and I flew through this book. It picks up right where book two left off with Roman being shot and oh my….the action did not stop!

    I was holding my breath as Princess Lucille was lurking around the dungeon while trying to scope out any information.

    I love the theme of this series being royalty. The old castles, traditions and crazy family! There are so many twists and turns you better buckle up your seatbelt.

    As I’m getting further towards the end of the book I’m thinking it must be going to wrap up the end pretty quick…wrong lol!! I was Aleatha’d at that ending! I can’t wait for book four!!

    This series is so totally different from Aleatha’d normal writing mode, but it is still full of drama intrigue and surprises. Roman and Lucille’s romance and subterfuge . The descriptions at times can be a bit lengthy and dialogue a little stilted but the suspense is definitely there. We are left with a bit of a bombshell ending, as the consequences could be life changing for the characters. Final episode soon.
