Cyborg Ranger Falcon Rader fought almost a hundred years in the interstellar war that left Earth ravaged. They were committing to make a life together, after all. While Falcon and Raya get along well, he regrets being obligated to root out the city gangs in his territory. He’d rather be with Raya at the farm.

    Falcon meets his genetic match, Raya. She lives on a huge farm alone. When they meet, it's instant love. Falcon will do anything to keep his mate safe and happy including finding her long lost sister and finding her a new dog. He'll fight slavers and gangsters to protect his mate.

    I love cyborg books! This was my first book by Clarisa Lake, and I might be hooked. Falcon is a lonely cyborg hoping for a mate of his own. Fortunately, he's finally matched with Raya. But Raya is having second and third thoughts about meeting him. She isn't sure he would be happy with an older woman. Boy was she wrong. Living on a distant farm in the middle of nowhere Kansas should make for a quiet and peaceful life for the both of them. Unfortunately, Falcons job brings undesirables to their door and trouble follows. A good read, my only issue with the book... too short! I received a free copy for my honest opinion.

    This story between Falcon and Raya is such a sweet tale. The simplicity of the story actually suits the two main characters although I thought maybe we could have done with having more of the city clear out story. What happened to the gang lord? Did he put up a fight?
    However overall a very sweet short read to add to the series
