The way the core love their mates is so beautiful. I also deal with infertility and this story (and series) where adoption, fostering, and blended families are the norm is just absolutely perfect. I truly appreciate the levels of love and care given for every aspect of love and parenthood with or without the ability to have children from your own body. No spoilers here, it's just a darn sweet story with the perfect amount of spice. Especially with that tail action ;)

    I liked the story, but something feels missing a little. I try not to expect anything to happen as the next step in the story as I read along, but I don’t succeed at all, but I have been able to keep it in perspective.

    I blame other authors for me wanting some in between bits that I kinda feel are missing here. I also feel like I may just need to read the first set of books back over again.

    At least we have a time frame of how long it has been from the abduction of an earlier female that we meet up again with in this story.

    Maybe that is what I’m missing. Maybe I want to really see the community that we know exists of these humans and other aliens. And have it show up for half of a short ending doesn’t count for me. Granted we got a bit more than that here, but it still had a distance that I didn’t like. Once again, I think it’s because I don’t remember the couple that we do interact with. I need to re-read those books.

    But outside of my grumblings for more, it is a decent story. This shows a bit more of the damage that the Red Death dealt to this part of the universe. I was honestly afraid for one of the characters until we neared the end. I don’t believe that I know the author enough to say for sure she won’t kill anyone off, but I should have since these stories don’t kill anyone off unless they are a bad guy. (Outside of those cyborg books I was reading).

    Anyway, if you are this far into these books, keep reading. If you particularly liked the last one because of all the out door time you should like this one too.

    I’m back to being picky about the pov of the (these) book(s). I noticed it here more near the end so maybe that is where it is different, but it wasn’t a true first person or third person pov. It threw me off a bit when I saw pronouns that I didn’t expect. Since I didn’t notice it till the end I guess it’s a small thing.

    On to the last one. If it is “the” last one I don’t know, but it is my next and last stop in this series. For now.

    Oh, BTW, the cover is misleading. It’s only 2 babies for this couple.

    Three Babies and the Alien Warrior was such a wonderful story. Zsoldar is a disenchanted Circe warrior who has had to do some shady things to survive and feels his honor has been tarnished. He's reluctant to take a job to rescue some human women but in the end decides to go. He never ever expects to find a mate but when he sees Linda his world changes. Linda, her head nurse and one teen and one young adult and 3 babies are abducted from a small country hospital and wake up terrified by horrible alien slavers out into sell them to the highest bidder. When she sees a tall muscled green warrior she new she should be afraid but what she felt was an attraction that she thought died when her husband left her. What happens next is a dangerous rescue and friendships that turn into family bonds and two sou!s who felt lost find a Nome inside one another! As always a beautifully told story of finding your place not only on the universe, but with the family you've always wanted and needed along with a love , passion and acceptance you only dreamed of. Highly recommend excerpt story.💖

    This is a solid installment of the Treasured by the Alien series by Honey Phillips, but as usual, it reads well as a standalone story. One of the things I enjoy a lot about Honey Phillips's books is that some of the characters crossover from other series. If you remember the lion-man Rafalo from her other books, you'll find him here again, setting the plot in motion as he sends off a slightly disreputable Cire warrior, Zsoldar, to track down rumors about the abduction of human females. Despite his less-than-sterling reputation, Zsoldar's heart is in the right place and he discovers that the rumors are, in fact, reality. Once he finds Linda, and her bedraggled gang of human females of all ages, Zsoldar's protective instincts flare into high gear. As their feelings for each other intensify, not only are they drawn to each other, but they begin to take on parental roles for the youngsters in the group. The couple face their share of challenges as they fight to keep their found family together and search for a way forward to their own happy ending.

    Out of all of Honey Phillips series, this one is by far my favorite. Found family and women who tend to be more mature in age resonate with me. I also love it when she throws in older children to the mix as well.

    The best is when the mmc doesn't know about humans or that they can mate with them....it is always so sweet with those alpha cinnamon marshmallows.

    All in all, I highly recommend this series and can not wait for the next one!
