A great story
Loved the story. It’s well written, entertaining, full of action, danger and romance. The book has everything that makes a great story. Nisani and Leslie are very strong characters and together they are even stronger. This is definitely a book worth reading.     This was another great book in the Alien Invasion series! The FMC’s twin sister and the MMC’s brother from book 7 take center stage in this one, and events in the previous book were resolved.

    The MMC is a sweet but stoic alien planetary ruler, while the FMC is a shy, half-human med student. Events from book 7 are revisited through their POVs as they find themselves stranded in a primitive village, trying to covertly make their way back to the capital to unravel the political sabotage. Their interactions are both sweet and spicy, even as he struggles to resist their undeniable connection.

    I’m not sure if Phillips is planning on continuing this series, if not this was a nice place to conclude the Alien Invasion series.

    This is the eighth book in the Alien Invasion series. It's a fast-paced and standalone book that will keep you engaged from start to finish.
    This is a story about the Valfar King (H) and one of the twin daughters of the Planetary Commander of Earth (h) who seem to have eyes for each other for a while now. Will anything come of their feelings for each other?

    I like stories that not only have really good sex scenes that get my blood pumping, but that have more complicated plots that bring realistic romance into play. By the end of this book, I was smiling and feeling really sweet towards my own husband. It's a beautiful relationship, and being able to see them years later in the epilogue made it better than the average HEA endings. The way the first book about Nisani's brother Okami was interwoven with this story was also well done. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves hot sex scenes and complicated but beautiful love stories. I hope there will be more--maybe about the poor fuchan chief...
