Medusa's Curse (Monsters of Gods Book 1) Kindle Edition

4.3 out of 5 stars 49 ratings

Destiny is a fickle bitch.

One moment, she whispers promises of dreams fulfilled, the next, she’s dragging you through the underworld…literally.

I never envisioned my life to unravel at the seams. I also never anticipated anyone to be my savior. Because no one ever has. As far as I see it, a goddess like me isn't worth fighting for.

And I sure as hell didn’t foresee myself washing up on the black sands of Hades’ private beach, clinging to life with nothing but saltwater in my lungs and chaos in my heart.

Seven monsters.

Each of them powerful. Dangerous. And equally beautiful.

Somehow, they become my salvation. They took me in some more reluctantly than others. They opened their doors, their lives, and eventually... their hearts.

But Destiny doesn’t like happy endings.

Just when everything finally felt right, she came for me again, cruel and smiling.

What she doesn’t know is I’m done being her puppet.

I’ve faced death. I’ve walked through fire. I’ve loved monsters.

And I’ll burn Olympus to the ground before I give them up.

Can't wait for the next book!!!
This is not your average Medusa story, and it's wonderful. She is an absolute breathe of fresh air. I loved seeing her come into her own in a new way. With a RH of this size, there is a LOT going on...but you definitely get a good sense of who each character is, and what they all are to each other. It's a good mix of fast and slow burn spice. A great read for fans of spicy fantasy & magic. Can't wait to see what happens next!!

First off love how she is unapologetic about everyone loving everyone, polyamorous, which means there is MM action. I for one am all for it and is my favorite read. This book has great creatures and the gods/goddesses from the authors imagination not from what lore tells us. This is a reverse harem, why choose with 7+ mates, friends to lovers, fated mates, jealous mean girl, oh and don’t let me forget special body parts and piercings!!!! Let me tell you there is some very spicy scenes and I’m so looking forward to more! Ends on a cliffhanger.

It delivers what it promises. A little light on the actual spice but the lust and want is always there. There are some mistakes and typos but nothing I couldn’t look past. The characters are all really likable and despite there being so many of them; they all get pretty equal time. Ace and Octavius stand out most to me. Very sweet. Except for Circe. Forget her.

I absolutely love this story and the characters. I cannot wait for the next book. Waiting on pins and needles here.

The concept of this story is a good one and I love the take on all the mythology. Medusa is a fun character to read about and I was so excited to start reading this story. However this book left me wanting more and not in a good way. I felt certain scenes and moments were rushed and she just instantly starts accepting all these men. Now, I like a good fast burn as much as the next reader, but this was really ridiculous and not believable in my opinion.
The story felt as if the author was worried they wouldn't fit everything in, even though this is book 1. It was a disappointment for me unfortunately and it's too bad as it has so much potential. There were also some spelling errors which always bugs me as I feel that is an easy catch during proof reading.

5.0 out of 5 stars An awesome quick read!

I absolutely loved this modern twist on the gods and powered through it in a few short hours.

Medusa starts off reserved and hiding her true self when Zeus throws a lightning bolt in the works.

Now on a different island with monsters after she's cursed, she really comes into herself and with the help of ALOT of amazingly hawwwt bonded men and their awesome little sis.

A few twists and turns and that cliffy was BRUTAL!! It's a pretty fast burn and it jumps pretty quickly into some juicy stuff so you don't have to wait all book for it 🖤

Can't wait for the next book and hope their is some group activities in it with Medusa and her men 🥵🐍🍆

I really enjoyed reading this. A different story of the Greek Gods, Goddesses and monsters. Its a very easy read and before you know it you'll have finished book 1. I really loved the connection that Medusa had between herself and her men and how she accepts what has happened and doesn't dwell on it but moves forward I can't wait to read the rest of the series.

I absolutely love and adore this this revamped version of Medusa's Curse. It's a fun and funny take on the gods. The FMC is empowered by the people around her and the battles she faces. The men who love her are strong and possessive sticky sweet cinnamon rolls. I loved every minute of it!!!
