    I recently read the first book in the Immortal Iron Brothers series and it deserves a 5-star rating. The book has an impressive world-building, a solid storyline, and well-developed characters. I believe this book is more than just a romance novel, as it explores the romance between Kendrick's past love interest, Venus, and his present love interest, Ray. However, it is important to follow the story carefully, as there are clues sprinkled throughout the book that connect and segue into the rest of the series. The way the author describes Kendrick and Ray's story is so vivid that it played out like a movie in my mind.

    The story primarily focuses on Kendrick and his brothers. I am eagerly looking forward to the remaining books of this series. While I am curious to know more about the other brothers and their mates, I am particularly intrigued by the story of Reilly and Lee Ann. And yes, I intend to stick with this series. From the very introduction of Kendrick by the author, I knew his story would be captivating. And it was not just enjoyable, but rather, it was an awesome experience. If you are someone who loves the rollercoaster of emotions, that is found within this author's stories then you will not be disappointed with this one. Ray is an absolute boss. If you are a fan of paranormal and dark fantasy elements and enjoy a background story with well-developed characters, you will love this book as much as I did.

    Okay so this was a decent read. I enjoyed the various forms of supernatural beings and the story of it all. I enjoyed the action also. There were rarely any grammatical errors which is always a plus. My issue was mainly the amount of side characters there were. It was a lot to keep up with. I caught myself having to revert back to which brother and sister belonged to which name. It was a lot to follow and keep up with.

    Kendrick and Ray was straight insta-love and I get it being bonded mates and all. What grinds my gears was how Ray flipped a switch. How can she describe herself as a rebel but barely did/said anything rebellious? If anything her rebellious behavior looked/seemed like stupidity. I mean I get why Venus did what she did but it doesn’t make it right and Ray thought that was fine too? Love is everything that’s why it was okay for her mates ex to embody her? Love is okay when her mates brother ex’s lover decides to attack her sister? Why did Kendrick not handle that properly. He left it all up to Ray, just for him to say “I’m in control” all throughout the book. All is always forgiven? I’m down for a woman with a good heart but at least make her and actions make sense.

    Aside from that I am excited to read the other books. These were just my hangups. The main characters were tolerable.

    WOW...This series sucks you in from JUMP! First understand this, you have to take in the words and follow the story from the beginning. It starts off with Kendrick in the present being drawn to his true mate, Ray, but then the story jumps to the past and beginning of the connection of Kendrick and Venus. This is where you will need to understand how this story and the bonding of the mates start. I get it and love how this is being told and unfolding. Some may say it's confusing or jumps around, but actually it doesn't , the story is looping you into all that were touched or where it started with the Immortal Kings birth! I'm so ready for book 2, where it will pick up where this book ends and get to know more of the mating with Bradan and Taylor. NOTE:..Author from the beginning and in the synopsis on Amazon, states that this book ends in a cliffhanger, so don't get mad after purchase and when you get to the end, because it is noted!! Well done, Ms. Blue!! 💙💙🔥🔥

    Can’t believe I’m saying this about a Blue Saffire book but this wasn’t my favourite. The premise was good but I just couldn’t get behind the execution. The whole god thing and it slightly mimicking creation fused with paranormal or sci-fi just didn’t sit right with me. Felt like blasphemy when I was reading it, and that’s just me.

    The romance wasn’t really there because Kendrick and Ray just met and it was an instant connection, so it consisted of the brothers finding their mates and problems arising. I found it soo odd that as demigods they kept brushing things off until it became a problem and it frustrated me to the point where I dreaded reading the book but needed to finish it cause I can’t do that to Blue. I was holding out hope that it would get better as I progressed but it was anything but.

    The fight scenes were building up to be great but they were so short lived, so when you were excited about things getting interesting it was over. I might read the other books in the series but I’m honestly not in a hurry. It was definitely not bad but the whole shared body with Venus, and Ray being weak majority and dumb, I just felt like it was all over the place.
