THANK YOU FOR THE KISS: Will they ever let me go? Kindle Edition
This well-travelled businesswoman arrives as an adventurous spirit seeking to rebuild her shattered life after profound loss. But beneath her kind-hearted resilience lies unresolved trauma that clouds her judgment. Cuba seduces Gina with its vibrant chaos, becoming a hedonistic lover that destroys her ability to repattern her desires.
When vanity and cultural misunderstandings spark a string of deceptions and financial ruin, Gina's mission becomes recovering her self-worth. Outwitted by a manipulative young man, she grapples to accept that individual needs matter more than cultural similarities. As anger and determination set in before the climax, the stakes are clear: overcome this psychological minefield or let it destroy her final chance to create the new life she came to Cuba to find.
Can Gina claw her way back from the inferno to regain her formidable queen status? This compelling story follows one woman's metamorphosis through the heartrending aftermath of grief.
Thank You for The Kiss, a memoir, is a story inspired by real-life events, unexpected, powerful and shocking.

About the authors
I was born in India of Eurasian parents. We lived a charmed but borrowed European lifestyle, attending catholic convents. I escaped my early convent life through my parents' immigration to the UK.
Leaving school and college I trained as a primary school teacher, loved it, but married and had a beautiful boy. I then set up an antique textile business which led to setting up another business in design and textiles, manufacturing in China and India. China in the 1980s was the place to be for business and I continued for over 35 years. Finally transitioning into creating a further business as a Business Coach and Mentor.
Having been in business for such a long time, I've gathered a great deal of experience and knowledge and want to share this knowledge. When I started, although business has the basic constructs, today's market place has changed to that of when I first started. One of the key elements I find myself coaching and mentoring in is around wellness, wel being and what it takes to be a business leader, and sustainably continue into the future.
In the ensuing years of my business I studied Anthropology at Birbeck College in London and through travelling developed a passion and curiosity for global cultures. Writing diaries while I travelled eventually led to writing my first book - a memoir - Thank You for the Kiss - set in Cuba.
I already have another book waiting to be finalised.

- Reviewed in the United States on June 7, 2023The author painted a beautiful picture of Cuba. You can sit back and imagine you are in the lush scenery with plentiful fruit and vegetation. People are dancing and walking around in their colorful garments. You can almost hear the salsa music playing, and you start tapping your feet to the beat. Gina travels to Cuba with her cousin, Ella. They meet two salsa dancers, Jonny and Alejandro (Alex), and Gina quickly falls for Alex, a much younger man. You will find that you can't put the book down and will soon be involved in the story and the relationship between Gina and Alex.

5.0 out of 5 stars Intrigue
No happy ending to this emotionally written book, which is set in Cuba and based on true events.
Well worth reading.
Looking forward to Beth's next book!

5.0 out of 5 stars A brave true story well told
A love story that is seen through a single twisted mirror of truth. From the man's perspective, the mirror shows how wealth or supposed wealth and love is misunderstood.
Love is shown by the author for a man who through the twist in the mirror seems to be someone she could forge a relationship with. The mirror again shows a twisted reality. Slowly she looks into the mirror from a different aspect.
She sees herself used and treated coldly. The only way to understand this book is to read the put ourselves on both sides of the mirror and wonder how we would react and feel in their shoes. I encourage you all to read this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars families was fascinating. The undercurrent of mystery and manipulation kept the pages turning
Really enjoyed Beth’s first novel. Gina’s adventurous spirit bringing you into the everyday lives of an extended Cuban family was fascinating. The undercurrent of mystery, intrigue and the subtle warnings she kept being given to “be careful” will keep you turning the pages,
