Boztoll: (The Silver Eclipse: Book 2) Kindle Edition

4.7 out of 5 stars 30 ratings

Wren, Graham, Ming Li, and Tal are four of the five chosen ones to enter the enchanted cave on the Island of Meegore. Their newfound magical access has left them vulnerable to power-hungry forces at a pivotal time–just as The Dark Cloud breaks the weather across the world. The only hope of fixing this lies in the ancient magic of the silver eclipse.

With all of their responsibility, they still find time to be teenagers and enjoy the fun parts of life. Dating can be just as nerve racking as taking on an evil organization!

In the midst of chaos, figuring out who to trust and forgive becomes critical. The four must embark on dangerous quests and win over allies if they are to save the world from an endless winter. The fate of everything hangs in the balance.

About the Author

Kristy Dixon graduated with a degree in English from the University of Utah. She started writing stories when she was seven and has been writing ever since. In the beginning she tried writing historical fiction, but soon found that to be boring. She started writing The Silver Eclipse at the urging of her children and found fantasy writing to be more fun. She has nine children and six chickens. If she isn't writing or playing board games with her kids, she is probably eating cookies or wishing that she were eating cookies.

The Silver Eclipse: Boztoll - Book 2
    By Kristy Dixon
    5 Stars

The sequel to The Silver Eclipse: Akkron picks up where the first book left off. Wren, Graham, Ming Li, and Tal have formed a bond as 4 of the 5 chosen ones who have a long adventure ahead of them. They are working on learning how to use their new magic as well as each other. As the Silver Eclipse grows both in size and in connections, and the Dark Cloud grows more daring, secrets - both good and bad - emerge.

Book two did not disappoint. One of the things I loved about the first book was connecting with the characters, and I feel like it just got better. The dialogue is natural and as a reader, I felt like I was standing there with the characters as they problem-solved. The author wrote some emotional struggles for the characters which really resonated with me as an adult; however, children would relate just as much. As I was getting close to the end of the book, I was so sad because I knew the third book wasn’t done yet. I cannot wait for it to be released.
